Alabama or Nebraska, Alabama, Nebraska.

I stare blankly down at the two letters in front of me.

"I say choose Alabama." Ian says from behind. I really don't know when he came into the house. He doesn't even knock anymore.

"But what about Nebraska?"

"I don't know, I just thought Alabama would be a good choice because of the whole Sean moving to Nebraska mess. I'm pretty sure you don't want to move somewhere..." He trails off. "Never mind."

I guess he was right, we live in Wisconsin and all, and Nebraska and Wisconsin are rivals when it comes to college football. I could get killed, but I could also be welcomed, because I chose Nebraska over Wisconsin.

"I just want a college where I can fit in."

"Well why didn't you choose Wisconsin?"He questioned." We live here."

"First of all, I hate Wisconsin, and second, everyone that I know from school is going there. I want a fresh start, meet new people, experience new things."

Ian huffs. "Whatever."

"So should I ask Sean then? Since you're not much help."

"Whatever." He grabs something from the refrigerator, before walking off into the living room.

Just as he leaves, the doorbell rings. "Oh don't worry Ian, I'll get the door, it's not like I'm busy or anything." I sarcastically say.

"Thank you!" He yells.

I roll my eyes. I open the door to see the one person I was hoping to talk to. "Sean? I'm so glad you're here. I really need help with this-." He cuts me off short.

"We need to talk." He says firmly.

"O-okay. Come in. Ian's in the living room."

"Good, I need to talk to him too." He strolls over to the coach Ian was laying in. "Ian?" He looks up at Sean. "We all need to talk. Right now."

"Um, okay." He stands up from his position and follows us into the kitchen.

"Sit down." Sean orders." We really need to talk."

"You already said that. Sean what's the real deal?" I look over to him.

He takes a breath. "I'm sick and tired of all of this. I don't want to lose you two again. I'm sick of all the little things that seem to be separating us. We need to find a way to fix this."

"So what you're trying to say is that you don't like us arguing?" Ian asks him.

"Yes, and I'm sorry for getting all mad when I found you two kissing. It's just that I told Fran I liked her, and then she goes off to kiss someone else."

"Seriously Sean?! You nearly got me to have sex with you, then after you walk away. How could I believe that we had some type of relationship going on. You didn't ask me to be your girlfriend or asked me out. Nothing! So don't blame it on me!"

Ian hooks an arm around me to calm me down. "Relax." He whispers in my ear."

"I'm sorry Sean. It's just... I'm sorry." I look up to him from teary eyes.

"It's ok, it's fine." He wraps me into a tight hug.

After a while of hugging, Ian speaks up. "So are we friends now?" He asks awkwardly from beside us.

I unwrap myself from Sean's arms. "Yeah, we are." I wipe away a tear.

"So what was so important that you were glad I came?"

"Oh, I wanted you to help me pick a college. It's between Nebraska and Alabama. I'm more pointing to Nebraska, but I thought it would be weird, because that's were you moved too and all." I stare down at the ground.

"I don't mind."

My head shoots up. "Really?"

"Yeah, I was actually thinking of going back to Nebraska for college. I could show you around and stuff."

"Yes! Yes!" I jump up and down with joy. "I would love that."

"Um, you guys can stay here and talk your nerdy shit, while I'll go do my own shit. Deal? Okay." He skips back to the living room. Me and Sean laugh at him.

"Nebraska?" Sean looks down at me.

"Nebraska." I grin back up at him.

Now I have something to look forward to.
