I was still a little shaken up from what happened yesterday, but still didn't have the guts to tell my family.

The thoughts of what could happen if I told them, flooded my brain.

What if he killed us?

He said he knew me since we were younger, so this guys knows a lot about me from what I've heard.

My thoughts get interrupted by the sound of my mother's voice telling me to go get the mail.

"Franny? Franny did you hear me?

"What?"

"I said go get the mail." She looked worried.

"Sorry mom, I was staring off into space." A nervous chuckle falls out of mouth.

I quickly run outside to make the tension less awkward. Hoping to get a letter from from one of the universities, I scramble through the mail, but find nothing.

I've signed up for at least five universities and I'm still waiting for them to reply.

Alabama, Penn State, Nebraska, Ohio, and Notre Dame.

I throw the mail onto the counter and run up stairs. As I open the door to my room, something instantly caught my eye.

It was blue with holes in it, but it was more like a letter.

I cautiously walk over to my desk and slowly open it to reveal an invitation.

Sean, I know a Sean, but it's been four years since me and Sean have talked.

Maybe he wants to talk. But why? He can't possibly want to talk to me, not after what happened.

It all started before we entered high school. Back then he was basically the only person I cherished the most and the only person I could trust. On the first day of school, back in kindergarten, when I first met Sean, he was literally sweating his balls off. He was really nervous, but so was I. Being the sweet little girl I was back then, I held his hand throughout the whole day of Kindergarten. As weeks became months and we were all getting used to the new atmosphere without our parents, but suddenly I became bullied. Even though the bullies were pushing me to the point of where I cry so much I have to be sent home, Sean was there for me, always blocking the bullies out of my life and standing up for me. We even promised that one day we would get married, but we were so naive.

To this day, I still don't understand how kindergartens could be capable of hurting someone so badly. But that's how it was.

Throughout the years we sticked together, easily convincing our parents to let us attend the same school and middle school. You could literally tell us that we spread rumors about each other and we would never believe you, knowing that neither one of us would do that to each other, after what we've been through together.

But then high school came, and I became further and further from Sean, even though he had his group of friends,a girlfriend, that made me jealous for some reason, and went to a different high school,he always seemed to want to still be friends, but that's not what I wanted. I became popular and ignored him from then on, thinking that it would ruin my reputation. He decided I was still worth fighting for. We both finally realized I wasn't worth fighting for anymore, and I realized I had been a terrible friend to him. Never answered his texts, phone calls or talked to him when he rang the doorbell.

One day he just disappeared, like that. Never came back. I was told that he and his family moved to Nebraska. Good old Nebraska, one of my college choices.

After days without constant bothers from Sean, I suddenly shut down, blocking everyone out of my life, barely ate, causing me to be sent to the hospital after I fainted in gym.

With the help of therapy, I had completely forgotten Sean, until now.

I look back down at the invitation, as I'm in thought, my phone by my bed side rings.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Franny." Ugh it's him. "Observing from the cameras, it seemed you've been crying." I hadn't noticed I was crying at all, until I tasted the saltiness on my lips. "It tells me you've finally found out who I am."

I gasp, causing the phone to drop to the floor with a thud.
This can't be happening.

Now this is really karma coming to bite me the butt.

I hesitantly pick up the phone, and press it to my ear.

"Sean?" I could barely get the name out.

"So, what do you think about the invitation?"
