Today is the day.
The day that I finally meet Sean after four years.
I can't believe he was stalking me.
But then again, it all makes sense.
I remember my parents giving him a key to the house in case he wanted to come over. So maybe that's one way how he got into our house to place the cameras.
Why would he do this. To get revenge?
I can completely understand that, but for how long has he been doing this?
Just asking myself all of these questions are giving me a headache. I'll just save them for him to answer.I quickly grab my shoes and head out without telling my parents where I'm going. I dodge a few questions thrown at me, not to be rude or anything, but really it was none of their business.
I get into the car and check back at the invitation.
Place: Eleanor's Flower Garden
That was where me and Sean had at first kiss, but this was at the age seven, we really didn't know what we were doing.
I park into the parking lot, and head into the garden. I start searching around for Sean. I mean maybe he hasn't changed at all, maybe he's still the nerdy kid with the big glasses and gelled hair.
"Are you looking for someone?" I turn around to see an old lady, recognizing her as Eleanor.
"Franny! It's so nice to see you again. Why have you left me?" She asked me in her thick British accent."Sorry El, I've been really busy, with school, football(soccer), friends and family."
"Oh, I understand." She was like a second mother to me, but a better mom than my actual one." So my question. Why are you here?"
"I was suppose to meet someone here. I don't know if you remember him, but Sean." I wasn't even sure if this guy was telling the truth, calling himself Sean and all.
He could be a fake for all I know.
"Ohhhh, yes Sean is here. Right at the very spot you and him smooched." She looks up at the sky as if she's daydreaming about it, with admiration in her eyes, like she remembered everything that happened." If you need help" sending me a wink" you know where to find me."
"Thanks El." That lady. I swear, even at the age sixty two, she very active. If you know what I mean.
I walk slowly over to the spot, but don't find who I'm looking for, or who I thought I was looking for.
Instead sitting there, is a boy around my age, with ruffled brown hair and bright blue eyes. I couldn't help but stare at his jaw line, so sharp.
As I kept staring, he looked up. Staring deep into my soul.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was waiting for someone." Just as I turn to leave, he speaks up.
"Franny." I look around to find where the deep voice came from, but then realized it came from the boy.
"You know my name?" I stare blankly at him.
How can a beautiful guy like him know my name, how?
"Well you are the person I'm looking for." He says while standing up from his seat.
Then it hit me like a train. "You're Se-Sean?" It was impossible to get out. This was Sean?
This guy standing in front of me is Sean?
"No you can't be, I ex-."
"Let me guess, you expected that I would still be that nerdish kid with glasses and tight pants." He replies rather quickly, finishing my sentence.
"Yeah, but-."
"But nothing. You ruined me Franny. I had to leave my friends and my girlfriend, because I couldn't stand to be around you anymore." He looked angry, really angry.
"Sean-."
"No, let me finish. You were like family to me. Every time you were hurt or having a bad day, I would always be the first person to step in and comfort you, but no, you blocked me out. That's when the stalking idea came to mind. If you weren't going to let me in, I guessed I would just have to watch you to make sure you were okay."
I look at him in disbelief. "Okay? Okay?!" He flinched a little at my sudden outburst.
"I was not okay. After you left, my world came tumbling down. I realized you didn't need me anymore and that caused me to block everyone out of my life. My family, friends, teachers, and I wouldn't even talk to my counselors. That's when I stopped eating. I stopped eating Sean! I got to the point where I ended up in the hospital. I finally recovered after going through therapy and then finally understood that I didn't need to waste my time crying over you. I made the decision to ignore you and you made the decision to leave!"By the time I was done, I felt tears sliding down my cheeks. When did I start crying?
This time his fist were clenched by his sides." I'm sorry that you decided to ignore me for your dumb reputation! I understand we didn't go to the same school, but that doesn't make it right for you to ignore me, and not even talk to me at least once. That's why I left. I got sick and tired. My parents didn't understand, so the only way to stop this, was for us to move away. It wasn't my choice, they chose to fuckin run away from the problem!!"
It came to the point, we were yelling so loud, people around the garden were staring at us.
"That doesn't make it right for you to make freaky phone calls just to scare me, and put cameras in my house!" I was screaming so much, my head started to pound like crazy.
"Whatever." His tone going back to calm. But I wasn't done.
"Whatever! Fuck you Sean!" I few people gasping around. Don't they have better things to do then just stand around and watch people argue like its some kind of tv drama.
"Franny! Do not talk that way to Sean!" Eleanor yells from behind.
Instantly I calmed down, I didn't want to cause any trouble for her.
"Sean?" He was too busy staring at the ground. I yell his name again. "Sean?" When he finally looks up I sigh. He was trying his best not to let the tears fall out.
"What?" His voice cracking a little.
"Why did you bring me here? Why?" I ask him as my voice becomes a whisper.
"I wanted to talk, but I guess that didn't turn out well." He walks past me, but just as I thought he was gone, he turned around and said " I left you a bag by the swing, in case we made up, but... I don't know." Then he walks away.
I grab the bag and head towards the car before anymore tears spilled out. Behind me I heard El calling my name, but I ignored it completely.
This was not how I wanted this to turn out. Not at all.
