Today's the day, where I'm finally going to make a complete fool of myself in front of Ian.

I still hadn't thought up what to talk to him about.

Doesn't matter, whatever comes out of my mouth, comes out.

I wait by the office for seven minutes, before there's a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see who it was.

"Ian?" I ask in disbelief.

"Fran?" He's in complete shock as I am. He pulls me into a tight hug, before letting go."You haven't changed a bit."

"Well you've changed. A lot." Now that was no lie.

All three of us were those kids with the braces, big glasses, smart brains, and dorky voices, but that all changed once high school came along.

But I can tell you Sean and Ian had changed the most.

They've gotten hot.

He wraps his arm around my shoulder, leading me down the hall. I catch a glimpse of people staring at Ian in awe. "So how's your family?" I turn back to him.

"They're good. They missed you, I missed you." He looks down at me.

"They did? You did?" I struggle to get the words out.

"Of course I did. You and Sean were both the coolest friends ever. How could I forget you guys. So you and Sean made up?"

I hesitate for a few seconds before answering, "yep." I pop the p at the end.

"Good, good, good. So, where exactly are we going?" He asks with a hint of amusement in his voice.

I was confused at first, but when I looked around, I realized we ended up in the gym.

"Oh man." I smack my forehead. "Sorry, let's go this way." I point towards the exit.

I show him the home room that we're both in, get him his schedule, and thankfully he was in all of my classes.

What a coincidence.

After that we head to lunch.

Thanks to Ian, I got to miss all of the classes I hated the most.

I grab his large hand and lead him towards our table. Instantly, he is greeted by Brian and Cameron.

"Yo Ian, my man." Brian comes up and they do their little bro handshake, while Cameron gives him a man hug.

"Man, long time no see." He walks over and sits between me and Skylar. "Skylar right?" He asks her.

"Yeah."

"Nice, cool name."

"Thanks." She turns away blushing.

No, bad Skylar. Ian's mine.

By the look Cameron had, it looked like he was thinking the same thing.

I didn't even get a chance to 'catch up' on things like Sean had mentioned, everyone wanted to talk to Ian.

People from other tables started gathering around him, girls coming fighting to get a look at him.

I couldn't take it, there was too much people, and I couldn't stand how close we all were. So I started to stand up, when Ian grabbed my hand.

"Fran, are you ok?"

People start giving me glares, as if telling me to reply to their king.

"No I'm fine." I grab my lunch and books, then leave.

I had no idea where I was planning to go, but some how I ended up in the library. The one place I've never been to in my three years at the school.

Well today is the day for things to changed, I thought to myself.

I set my stuff down at an unoccupied table. The librarian looks up, and seems shocked to see me in the library.

She nods and smiles, I return the gesture and get back to my lunch.

As I was eating, I looked around our gigantic library, absorbing all the many books we had, and the people, many I didn't know.

I guess the library is a place to go to when escaping the real world.

I was enjoying it, the quietness, it felt so calmly and relaxing.

I should come here more often. I look around some more before my eyes land on Ian coming in.

How did he know I was here? I didn't even show him where the library was.

It looked like he was asking the librarian a question, because before I knew what was happening, she was pointing at me, and Ian turning his head to look my direction.

He walks over and plops down in the seat next to mine.

"Are you ok?"

"Ian I'm fine, it was just a little crowded so I came here." I say simply.

Just as I'm about to take a bite out my sandwich, he takes it from me.

"Hey!"

"Shhhh!" The librarian looks sternly at me.

I mouth sorry back. "Why did you do that?"

"You're not telling the truth." He says while examining my sandwich.

"Oh, and how would you know?" I glare at him while he glares back.

We sit like that for a minute before he finally speaks. "You're just not telling the truth. Tell me the actual truth and I'll give you your sandwich." He smirks at me hearing the sound of my stomach growling.

I was beyond hungry.

"Fine, first of all it was getting to crowded in there," he rolls his eyes, " and second, I wanted to spend some time with you, but everyone was in my way. Selfish, I know."

He stares at me hard and thinks before handing me my sandwich. I snatch it from him and stuff it in my mouth.

"My god, " he turns away chuckling, "you're such a pig."

I look up from my food and snort at him, causing him to laugh harder, and us earning more glares and shhhhs from across the library.

"Same old Franny." He ruffles my hair.

"Hey, hey, hey. Careful. It takes me forever to get my hair this perfect." I place my hair back in place.

"Whatever." He grins widely at me.

We stay there and actually catch up on things, before the bell rings.

Today really wasn't al, that bad.
