* about a week later*

-Ian's POV-

Why? Why?

That's all I can seem to find myself asking. Why did she go to that party? Why did she think it was a good idea to drink? And why does Sean always have to be involved in everything bad that happens?

But then again, Fran isn't the only guilty one here.

When she told me what she did, it instantly reminded me that I did the exact same thing, but I refused to tell her right away.

I should call her back. I think she's waited long enough.

I rummage through my book bag, and find my phone at the bottom. Before tapping on her name, I look at the time. It was 4:00, so she would already be back from classes.

I pause for a few moments, before pressing her name. The first time it goes straight to voice mail.

I sigh, pressing her number again. "Come on, come on. Pick up Fr-"

"Ian?" You could hear the guilt in her voice.

God, I missed her voice. "Fran, we need to talk about last week."

"Um, okay." She replied." But I want you to know that me and Sean are very sorry, we never meant for anything to happen. Sean had to break up with Holland, because of the dumb mistake we made, and if you want to break up with me too, I'm not going to stop you."

Geez.

"Fran, babe listen, in any minute, I'll be the one trying to get your forgiveness. You're not the only one."

- Franny's POV-

"You're not the only one."

Oh no, that doesn't sound good, it doesn't sound good at all.

"Is everything ok?" I ask nervously.

"Last week, when you told me, and then I hanged up, was only because you reminded me of something that I might as well confess to you too." He pauses. " I also went to a party, actually Cameron's party. And...you know Danny right? Danny Lopez?"

"Uh, yeah." I didn't like where this was going. If it had Danny involved, this was going to be big.

"I, uh, she was there too, and, um, we were talking and she handed me a drink, right after she asked me if you and I were dating, which was kind of weird, but I didn't think of anything of it at the time. So a few minutes later after I took the drink, I drank some more, at least five cups. But then I started to feel dizzy, everything turned black. When I woke up..."

I was so close to closing my ears, I didn't want to hear what he was going to say.

"She, she was next to me, naked. I still felt dizzy and all so it was hard for me to figure out where we were exactly, but when I saw lying next to me, both of naked, I instantly regretted ever going to that party. I explained everything to Cameron and he took me home. So...yeah. I was kind of afraid to tell you."

I took a breath. "Why would you do that?!" I started yelling into the phone out of nowhere.

"Why are you yelling at me?!" He yelled back. "I told you I was drunk right?! Stop making this like its my fault! I didn't blame it on you when you told me! Did I? No, I didn't!"

I groaned. "I'm sorry ok...I'm sorry."

He sighs. "You already said your sorries Fran, you know that right?"

"Yeah." I sniffle. "I know. I love you Ian." I had to say it, there was no reason for being mad at him, it was obviously all Danny's fault. She probably had something to do with it.

"I love too babe." I could hear the smirk in his voice.

"So, do you think Danny had something to do with it?" I needed to ask him that.

"Um, probably. That's what Cameron thought. I was feeling fine until she handed me that drink. I guess now I know never to tell other girls that we're dating, or else they'll go bazerk."

I giggled. "Did she not know who you were?"

"No, she knew me and Sean were friends, but what she didn't know was that you and I were dating. When I mentioned you, her face turned from a smirk to a scowl."

"But she has a boyfriend, why would she do something like this?"

"I don't know, but I feel sorry for the dude. I have a girlfriend that will always forgive."

"Don't think just because I forgives you so easily, I'll forgive all the time." I tried to be serious, but failed miserably with both of us ending up laughing.

"Well babe, I've got to get to work. I love you okay?"

"Ok, I love you. Hang up first." Was I seriously starting this?

"No you hang up first." He chuckles. I guess I was starting this.

"No you hang up first." I giggled.

"No yooouu." He cooed.

"No yo-" the phone was grabbed out of my hand.

"Sorry Ian, but Franny doesn't have time for this." Andy puts the phone on speaker.

"But can I say bye to her one last time?" His voice whines from the speaker.

Andy groans. "Fine." She shoves the phone my way.

"I love you Fran. Okay?"

"Ok, I love you too." Andy scoffs from beside me, mouthing our words. I smack her arm to shut up.

"But you hang up first." Seriously Ian?

"No you hang up first." We were so weird.

"No you hang up."

Andy snatches the phone away from me, before I could say anything. "Bye Ian!"

"Alright! Say hi to Drew and Sean for me."

"Whatever." She hits the end button.

"What's got your panties in a twist?" I smirked.

"What's got that dumbass grin your face?" She asked sarcastically.

"I asked you first." I pushed her.

"My parents are getting back together."

"Really?! That's awesome! Why aren't you happy?" I stopped bouncing.

"Because I don't want my mom back in our lives, she left us for no absolute reason. Came up with an excuse that she didn't have feelings for dad anymore, but when she was actually cheated, then she just left us. Left dad to take care of me and Caitlyn, with no mother figure. And now she wants to be in our lives? I'm not allowing it." She frowned.

"You need to at least try to forgive her. God forgives us when we sin, so we need to learn how to forgive others too."

"Wow, you came to the right place. Nebraska's like the state with the most Catholics."

"Thanks." I grinned." Now, I need to go tell Sean the good news."
