After what had happened, I don't think I can look at Sean the way I did before. Even though it was in the moment, it just felt so real. Too real.
Right now we're just sitting on the coach looking through yearbook pictures.
"Ha! Oh. My. Gosh! Look at you!" I hysterically point at Sean's junior year picture. Yep that junior we spent from each other.
"Come on Fran, seriously?" He groans.
"But it's funny." I innocently stare at him.
"Don't give me that." He snatches the book from me. "I'm pretty sure there's a picture of you I can surely find."
"Good luck with that." I grin proudly at him.
I had hid every single of my yearbooks in my room. I don't even remember where they are anymore. Sure people tell me I'm pretty, hot, and all that stuff, but I just feel sub conscious sometimes just looking at them.
"Fine." He stands up from the coach, and strolls towards my room.
Before I knew it, he was already back with the box full of my yearbooks.
"How, how," I stutter, "how did you know where they were?"
"Did you forget about the cameras?"
Oh, those. I had been having such a good time hanging out with normal Sean, that I almost forgot he was a creepy stalker as well.
"Now let's see if we can find any pictures of you." He starts skimming through the pages, and finally finds a messed up pic of me with braces and a small uni brow in the second grade.
Men I was ugly, but hey, I got hit pretty hard, now look at me.
"Please Sean don't do this." I whine.
"Hey, while the other boys ran from you, I was attracted to the uni brow of yours."
Gross.
He pulls another picture. "Ok, I think that's enough for today." I quickly put them back into the box.
"Hey Fran?"
"Yeah?"
"Ian's back in town."
Oh shoot, no why? Ian was one of our friends since the third grade, and I've had a crush on him ever since. Even after what me and Sean had did, I still liked Ian, I've always had, even while dating Landon.
"So he wanted to see you."
"He did?"
"Yeah, so I said we'll come over to your house after school on Monday."
"Monday?"
"I hope you don't mind, he's coming to your school, so I thought you could show him around the school, and catch up on things."
"No, it's fine."
It wasn't fine at all. What could I possibly say to him? Especially with Landon and everyone around.
I start chuckling to myself.
Sean turns from the tv. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing. Remember when you, Ian and I would play house and our parents would always think we were doing something inappropriate." I fell on the ground, my chuckles turning into loud laughs. "And then after my mom would make me go to confession."
"Man," he looks at me oddly at me," I'm really glad Brian isn't here." He looks down at his phone. Probably receiving a text from someone.
He stands up and struts towards the door. I finally settle down. "Where you going?"
"I have to go home, mom's gonna get worried." His voice uneasy.
I loved his mom, but ever since I had ignored him, and supposedly ruined him, she looked like she wanted to rip my head off and feed it to the dog.
"Ok, but when will I see you again?" I get up off the floor.
"Uh, I don't know, but bye." Then he was gone.
I wonder why he was in such a hurry.
Is he cheating on me? Wait cheating?
We're not even dating, I don't even know what we are, but my only question is are we still friends?
I push the idea aside and think up stuff to say to Ian.
I want him to come back and see me as a different person, not the friend that broke his other friend's heart.
