I stroll down the aisles and grab everything that I see.
Thanks to the guys, there's barely any food left in the house. Not even a mouse could find a crumb on the floor.
I was about to turn a corner, when I accidentally hit someone with my cart.
"Oh my gosh! Are you o-" I look up to the person that I hit, and immediately regretted it.
"Hi, it's Franny right?" Jackson flashes me a genuine smile.
"Um, I, uh, um, Jackson." Way to go Franny, real smooth, real smooth. "Where's Danny?" Did I just really ask that? My God.
He chuckles. "She's staying with her family for the week. So how are you? It's been awhile."
"Oh, I'm good, doing great."
After that, it becomes completely awkward. We stand there for what seems like eternity, until he speaks up again.
"Why so much food?" He points amusedly at my cart.
"The guys ate everything in the house, so I'm just getting more things."
"Cool. Well I'll see you later babe." He smirks, before walking off.
Babe? What the fuck?
I stare back down the aisle he was walking in and catch a glimpse of his butt. Damn.
"I have to get out of here." I tell myself. I quickly got in line, before Jackson had a chance to come back.

"What took you so long?" Ian whined.
"Would you shut up and help me with the bags." I push past him into the kitchen where Sean and Brian were waiting.
They follow Ian outside while I put somethings away. Then I hear a buzz from my front pocket.
I pull out my phone to see a message from Landon. Oh shit.
-Landon
Franny, listen, I know you hate me and all, but I really need to talk to you. I want you back, and this time it's not a lie. Please.
I text him back.
-Franny
Fine, but it better not be some sick joke.
Before I knew it, he had already replied.
-Landon
I'll be over later. I love you.
No. No you don't love me, you sick dog. He just doesn't get it, does he. Last time I saw him, it looked like he was dying.
Why is it so hard being pretty.
I walk outside to see the guys still struggling to bring in the bags.
"Come on guys! One trip! One trip!" Ian screamed, not even bothering to grab some bags and help the guys.
By the look of it, it looked like they were trying to get all the grocery inside in one trip.
"One trip!" Sean yelled back, with at least ten bags in his arms.
Boys. What can you do about it?
"Ian, they don't have to go in one trip." I try to convince.
"No they do Fran." He argues back.
"Well maybe you guys can get more done if you tried helping." I fire back, knowing that I had won this round.
"Whatever." I shove some bags into his arms and pushed him towards the door.
As I turn away from him, Landon's car appears in the driveway. He steps out and gives me a warm smile, at least that's what he was going for.
Breath Franny, breath. Let's get this over with, so he can leave you alone.
"Landon!" I return the forced smile. He places a soft kiss on my cheek." Let's head inside." I usher him to go ahead of me. I give him a smile.
As he has his back to me, I growl at the back of his head.
Prick.
