NEW HOME. NEW BEGINNING. That's how Clarke described it. A day has passed by and the group now lived in one of the houses that were still standing in Sanctum. On the day they learned that Alexander's memory has indeed gotten worse, he had forgotten the Blake sibling's names. And he tends to mix his memories up of them, along with Raven. His lover. It hurt Raven the most, and Alexander felt bad. He wished there was something to do to get his memory of her back, but nothing helped.
Alexander walked outside where he was greeted by Madi.
"You said I could start school today. Why am I here?" Madi questioned
"Well, I thought you'd like to see our new home," Alexander replied gesturing to the house. "Russell built it for Simone so she'd have a place that reminded her of the farm she grew up on, back on earth before the bombs. And Picasso comes with it," he said finishing the sentence off with the only thing Madi would care to hear about
"Now you've got my attention," Madi smiled at the man. "We can keep her?"
"Yes. It took a lot of me convincing Clarke, but she finally—" Alexander was cut off when Madi pulled him into a hug. "Oh? We're hugging again?"
"Thank you, Alex." Madi smiled
Alexander nodded before pulling away. "Let's go inside."
Madi ran away inside with the dog leaving behind Gaia and Alexander.
"I don't know what I like less, Lying about the Flame or making Madi pretend she's still a commander. Or even worse, worrying you're going to wake up one day dead," Gaia rambled off before noticing the look Alexander gave her. "Sorry. It's just, you're getting worse. You barely got out of bed today, your wounds are healing extremely slower than an average human wound should, and you forgot the love of your life."
"Well one, Indra thinks it could split Wonkru, and two, I'm sorry I can't control this disease." Alexander huffed. "I sleep in the same room as her, along with the bed. Don't you think I feel bad for uh—-"
"Raven. Alex—her name is Raven." Gaia sighed loudly. "I just worry about Madi. If you go, she'll lose herself. Along with everyone else in that house, somehow you're the peace to us all."
"Well good thing I'm not leaving anytime soon. Now come on, there's plenty of rooms for us all," Alexander said walking inside, as he walked in his eyes landed on Raven. He may not remember her, but his heart still craved her. "And she knows how to cook, how surprising," he said as he dipped his finger in the pot.
