THERE WAS ONE THING on Alexander's mind and that was figuring out a plan that doesn't involve him becoming the commander. The boy didn't like the thought of being in charge of an army, that's why his sister was instead. Becoming commander scared him and sent chills down his spine. But he needed to figure out a plan to stop Alie.

"Alex, are you okay?" A voice said breaking the boy out of his thoughts that were eating him alive.

He looked up and his eyes met with John Murphy's worried eyes.

Alexander nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." he paused turning towards Clarke. "Just get the chip out of your mom."

Clarke nodded and went to go grab the EMP. She then waited a moment before zapping her mom who screamed in pain. Clarke took the device out of her and held onto her mom trying to wake her up.

"Mom? Can you hear me? I know you're in there. Come back to me." she cried out holding back tears. "I need you."

Moments later Abby woke up, she looked at her daughter with tears eyes. Abby cried out as she apologized to her daughter for torturing her and doing the things she did. The three boys watched their interaction and felt bad. After moments of catching up, Pike came through the door and the six tried to come up with a plan. And that's when one very stupid one came into Clarke's.

"We're not putting the Flame into Alexander's head. We're putting it into mine."

Alexander brows furrowed, he crosses his arms over his chest. "You aren't a nightblood, Clarke. It's fine I'll take the Flame, you must've forgotten that thing killed Emerson in a second—."

"Emerson wasn't connected to a nightblood." Clarke interrupted.

Pike narrowed his eyes. "Transfusion?"

"Not exactly."

Abby sat up as she caught onto Clarke's plan. "Connected like Mount Weather."

"Yes," Clarke nodded turning towards her mother too. "Everything we need is in your medkit."

"No, it's too dangerous and there are too many variables."

"There's no other option."
