Temptation (complete)

Chapter ten

"I promise I won't do it again." Loki says.

You sit on the side of the bed and put your face in your hands. You hear your phone ring. You run out to the living room and answer it.

"Hello! Hayes' speaking." You say.

"Bring in Loki, or we'll bring him in cold." The person on the other end says.

"What? Who is thi-"

The line goes dead. You pull the phone from your ear and look confused. Loki walks out, shirtless, of course.

"Darling? What's wrong?" He asks.

"Nothing. Don't worry about it." You say.

"Alright. I have a question. What is a movie theater?" He asks.

"What? You know a tv right? It's that but it has a bunch of seats in front of it and its bigger." You laugh.

"Can we go to one?" He asks.

"Sure, why not?" You shrug.

You and Loki go to the movie theater.

"So, what movie do we want to see?" You ask Loki while walking to the theater. "We can see the throw back of the week, Empire Strikes Back if that's good with you."

"That sounds good." Loki replies. 

"No talking in the theater. Okay?" You say as you hold the door for him.

Loki says, "Alright."

"Want something to snack on during the movie?" You ask.

"Sure, I think."

"Popcorn or candy?"

"Uh,"

"Popcorn it is. I'll get the tickets."

You both go to the ticket stand and buy two tickets for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. You hand Loki one ticket and tell him to find the theater room. You go up to the consessions stand.

"Hi! Can I get a large popcorn and two medium sodas please."

"Yup." The cashier says unenthusiastically. You wait at the counter for about thirty seconds.

"Here ya go." Says the cashier.

"Thanks!" You say walking away towards the theater.

You walk in and see Loki sitting all the way at the back away from the people in the theater. You walk to him.

"Here's the popcorn, we're sharing. And I also bought a couple sodas." You hand him his soda. You got him Sprite so he didn't have caffine. You sit down right next him. You watch the movie and to your surprise, Loki didn't talk the entire time. He just sat there and looked at the screen like a child looking through a candy shop window. After the movie you walk out and Loki is just so excited about his first movie. He's just talking about how much he loved it. This makes you smile as you love seeing people happy.

"I loved it! When those big metal leg things just fell!" Loki says.

"AT-ST's. Is what those big metal leg things are." You laugh.

"Oh, You find my excitement funny, don't you."

"Yeah, You look like a little puppy staring at it's favorite toy." You say.

You walk back to the hotel and pass your apartment building. It's almost completely fixed.

"Woah, That was fast." You say.

"What was fast?" Loki asks.

"They've almost fixed the building. I bet something is gonna break."

"Ah, I get it. You're still mad at the Avengers." Loki says.

"What?! No!" You quickly defend.

"I can tell, I know what anger looks like."

"I'm not mad, at all." You say even though you know it's a lie.

You hear a crash. You look at Loki.

"I'll be right back." You say as you run off to where it came from.

You see a glowing purple stone. You look at it in confusion. You hear another crash and this time you see a pale man with red eyes, white hair, and elf ears.

"What the hell?" You mumble.

He charges at you. You use your telekinesis to lift him off the ground so he couldn't get close enough to harm you. Loki runs up behind you. He sees the man you levitated as you drop him.

"A dark elf?" He says.

"What the hell is a dark elf!?" You say as you intrude in the mind of the dark elf.

You destroy it's mind from inside. You come from out of it's mind to it on the ground. Loki looks at you.

"You're more powerful than I thought." He says.

"I know."
