Temptation (complete)

Chapter twenty-four

Valkerie tackles Hela to the ground. Thor blasts her with lightning, breaking the bridge. Surtur shouts something but you can't make out what. You're on the other side of the bridge half-conscious. Hulk jumps at Surtur and starts beating him up.

Thor yells, "Hulk! Stop! You moron!"

Surtur throws Hulk off him.

"Hulk! For once in your life don't smash!" Thor shouts.

"But big monster!" Hulk shouts back.

"Let's go!" Valkerie shouts.

You realize they aren't coming toward you. You try to gain their attention but nothing. You realize you're going to have to get to the ship yourself. Hulk runs at the duo and brings them to the ship. You focus and your eyes start glowing gold. You use your powers to float to the ship. You crash inside. 

"Ow." You say as you didn't land on your feet, "Where's Loki?!"

Hela emerges from the water she fell in and attacks Surtur. He swings his sword at Hela, killing her. The ship flies away as Asgard burns.

"The damage is not too bad, as long as the foundation is strong, we can rebuild this place, it'll become a haven for all peoples and aliens of the universe." You hear Korg say.

Then Asgards foundation explodes.

"Yeah no, that foundation is gone. Sorry." He says.

You notice Thor's eyes are full of regret. You place your hand on his shoulder.

"What have I done." He says.

"You saved us from extinction," Heimdall tells him, "Asgard is not a place, it's a people."

You look around for Loki. You take your hand off Thor's shoulder.

Valkerie invites him to the new throne of Asgard, "Your throne."

You run up to Loki and give him a huge hug.

"So, king of Asgard," Heimdall says.

Thor looks back at the people and waves awkwardly.

"Where to?" Heimdall smirks.

"I'm not sure. Any suggestions. Meik, where are you from?" He asks.

Korg replies, "Oh Meik is dead." He points at Meik who he's been holding, "Yeah, no I accidentally stomped on him on the bridge. I've just felt so guilty so I've been carrying him around all day."

There's a moment of awkward silence and Meik suddenly starts moving again.

"Oh, Meik! You're alive! He's alive guys!" Korg celebrates, "What was your question again?"

"Earth it is." Thor mumbles.

You grab Loki's hand and squeeze it. You look up at him with a smile on your face. He wipes the blood off your cheek. You go to a room that was basically a restroom. You take a towel and clean yourself up. You hear the door open behind you.

"I'm in here!" You say.

"I know, that's why I came in." You hear Loki say.

You turn around.

"Oh hey, Loki."

"Are you alright, darling?"

"Yeah, just cleaning myself up. And your brother almost forgot me!"

"He did?"

"Yeah, I was on the bridge, half-conscious, and he just flew up here!"

"Well, I'm sure there's a valid reason he did so." Loki locks the door and smirks, "But right now, it's just you and me."

He walks up to you and strokes your face before kissing you. You pull him in closer and he caresses your arm. You start to unbutton your vest. You know what happens ;)

Suddenly someone starts banging on the door. You quickly put on your clothes and Loki does too. You answer the door.

"Hi!" You say to Thor.

"Hello, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for leaving you on the bridge, I thought you were dead. I am very glad you aren't, you're the thing that causes Loki the most happiness. He would've been devastated if you had died."

"It's fine, thanks for apologizing." You say then you close the door.

You see Loki standing by the sink, with a strand of hair sticking straight up. You giggle. He looks at you as his face turns bright red. You go over to him and fix his hair and kiss him.

"I love you." You murmur.

"And I love you darling." He says, wrapping his arms around you, making you feel safe.
