Chapter twenty-six

You end up crashing in a field. You get up and dust the dirt off you. You realize that everything that happened, well, happened. You feel a piece of yourself missing, you know Loki is really dead this time. You've never felt this before, you've never lost someone that close to you before either. You realize Loki is gone, half of the Asgardians, gone. Everything you built, everything you've fought for was just destroyed by a crazy Titan. Your eyes tear up and you collapse to the ground. You scream bloody murder, for you lost the love of your life.

"He can't be gone, he wouldn't leave me again. He wouldn't, he loves me." You cry.

You feel an overwhelming rage.

"Thanos will pay for this." You say, in a furious tone.

You get up and fly to the city. You land and search for anyone you know. You run around and run to a park you think Tony might be at. You find Pepper but no sight of Tony.

"Pep! Where's Tony?"

"He just went through a portal with a man named Dr. Strange. Why do you need him? And why do you look like you just got your ass handed to you on a silver platter?"

"Um, hard to explain, did you say Dr. Strange?"

"Yeah. I did."

"Great! Thank you!" You say as you run toward the sanctum sanctorum.

You run there and almost knock but stop yourself. You remember what happened last time.

Just do it y/n, it can't cause any harm. You think.

You take a deep breath and knock on the door. You poof inside and see Tony, Bruce, Stephen, and a new man.

"Stark! Oh, thank god!"

"Y/n? What're you doing here? And why do you look like trash?"

"Thanos is coming, we need to make sure he doesn't get here before we're ready." You say.

"We heard Thanos is coming. Bruce warned us." Tony replies.

You say, "Right, and did he tell you Loki is dead?"

"Loki is dead?!"

"Yeah, can you guess who killed him? Thanos. I want to kill Thanos, in the most painful way possible. I want to watch him suffer."

"Whoa, you have lost your sense of humor."

"Well, of course, I did, Thanos killed my joy and I want to kill his." You say, trying not to break into tears.

"Strange, you don't happen to be moving your hair with your magic are you?" Tony asks Strange.

"Not at the moment, no."

You all run out to the street. There's a huge spaceship in the sky.

"What the hell?"

A blue beam of light shows down upon the road. Thanos' minion that made the speech and his larger minion are standing in the road where the beam shone.

You all walk closer to him, you use all your strength to try not to kill them both.

"Hear me and rejoice."

"Not this again." You roll your eyes.

"You are about to die at the hands of the children of Thanos. Be thankful that your meaningless lives are now contributed-"

"I'm sorry, Earth is closed today." Tony interrupts, "You better pack it up and get out of here."

"Stone keeper, does this chattering animal speak for you?" He says.

"Certainly not, I speak for myself and you are trespassing in this city and on this planet." Strange says as he casts a spell.

"It means get lost Squidward," Tony yells at him.

"Yeah, get lost before I kill you in the most brutal way possible and throw your head at Thanos' feet." You yell at them.

You hear Squidward say something to his sidekick

"You want a piece?" Tony asks Bruce.

"No, not really but when do I ever get what I want." Bruce mumbles.

"Right."

Bruce tries to bring out the Hulk but nothing happens.

"Been a while, good to have you, buddy," Tony says.

"Gotta concentrate here for a second," Bruce mumbles.

"Where's your guy?" Tony asks.

He tries again, nothing.

"Dude, you're embarrassing me in front of wizards." Tony states.

You snicker but the large minion is coming closer and closer.

"Shit." You mumble.

It starts running at you. Tony pulls his hoodie strings and double taps the arc reactor and his suit crawls over his body. He blasts the minion and he flies backward. Squidward waves his hand and he flies away from him into a building.

"Where'd that come from?!" Bruce shouts.

"Nanotech, you like it? Little something-"

He suddenly flies upward.

You run at Squidward and try to blast him but he blasts you into a car.

"Ouch." You get up and stop him with your telekinesis, "Not today, you shit."

You throw him up but he stops himself from falling to the ground.

Your eyes widen as he blasts you through a couple of buildings. You get up and find Tony. You and Tony fight the big dude and after a bit you get tired. You collapse, as you have been fighting for two days. The big guy swings his ax at you and you stop it. You throw him away from you and he tries to hit Tony, who is also on the ground. Someone catches it.

"Hey man!" He says, "What's up Mr. Stark?"

"Kid, where'd you come from?" Tony asks.

"A field trip to Moma!" He says as he gets thrown at the fountain.

"Who the hell is that?"

"Um, Spider-Man, he helped me at the airport."

"Huh, so that's Peter."

"What's this dudes deal Mr. Stark!?" He asks.

"He's from space and he came here to steal a necklace from a wizard," Tony explains.

You get up and fall right back down. The kid comes up to you and reaches his hand down.

"I'm Spider-Man."

"I'm- Y/n." You smile.

You take his hand and he pulls you up.
