Temptation (complete)

Chapter fifteen

It charges at you. Loki quickly pushes you out of the way, getting charged into a car.

"Loki!!" You scream.

You get mad and blackout. When you wake up you see the wolf, dead on the ground, and Loki, who's staring at you in a combo of fear and shock.

"What?" You ask, reaching your hand down to help him up.

"You just- you- killed it. You killed it so brutally. More brutal than Thor would." Loki says still in shock, on the ground.

"Wha- what do you m-mean?" You stutter.

"I told you. You killed it." Loki responds.

"I would never kill anything. I- I can't." You oppose.

"Well, I told you the truth. You killed the creature." Loki says quickly.

"I- Oh my god." You cover your mouth in shock.

Loki gets up and wraps his arms around you, "Don't worry darling."

"Loki! I just killed something! The one thing I vowed never  to do again!" You yell while pulling away from Loki.

"I know darling!"

"Stop calling me darling! I am no darling! I'm a monster!" You scream.

"Y/n, you're not a monster. You weren't in control of yourself." Loki assures you.

"Loki, I can't just forgive myself for murdering something." You say as you walk away.

Loki grabs your wrist, "Please, y/n, I've felt like a monster before. I have been a monster before. The best way to deal with it is to forgive yourself. To come to terms with it. And not be mad that it has happened."

Your eyes tear up, "Thank you Loki," Your voice cracks, "But I just want to be alone."

You rip your hand away from Loki and go to your hotel room. Loki follows. You run in the door and go to your room. You slam the door and lock it so no one can come in. Loki knocks on the door.

"Y/n, I want to say, I love you and just to check up on you." He says in a soft tone. 

You don't reply. You hear Loki go to his room. You unlock the door and peak out. He is in his room. You close the door and relock it. After a while, you go to bed.

You dream about Loki leaving and not coming back.

You shoot up. You lay in bed for a bit. You get out of bed and walk into the living room. Loki's nowhere to be seen. You go to check his room. Not there either. But there's a note on his bed. You open it.

My love, I have to leave. I don't want you to be miserable. It was my fault that wolf came. I don't wish to cause you any more trouble. I left the t-shirt you liked and cleaned up all of my belongings. Don't be sad about me leaving. Rejoice, for I am gone and will be no trouble to you. Love, Loki.

"Loki, why would you leave?" You mumble, "Where would you go?"

About two months you start getting over Loki's disappearance and turn on the TV. You see that the capital of Sokovia was crushed in the fight against Ultron. The only reason you didn't help in that fight was that if you got distracted your powers could go haywire. A lot has happened since Loki went missing, SHIELD's info was released, Tony started having panic attacks, Ultron happened, and Thor went back to Asgard. You get a call from Tony.

"Hey, y/n, Bruce is missing." He says the second you put your phone to your ear.

"When did he disappear?" You ask.
