Temptation (complete)

Chapter sixteen

"You can handle it from here." Doctor Strange says to Thor.

"Yes, thank you very much," Thor says.

"Handle me? Who are you?" Loki says after he gets up. He summons knives, "You think you're some kind of sorcerer? Don't think for one minute, you second-"

"Alright buh bye." Strange says as he pushes the portal so you three go through.

Loki falls through and to the ground. You look around and see a beautiful green landscape and a cliff looking over the sea. Loki sighs right before he gets up. Thor sees Odin and you do too. Thor walks toward him with Loki. You stay behind as you feel like it'd be intruding if you walk with them. 

You can hear their conversation.

"Look at this place, it's beautiful," Odin says. 

"Father it's us," Thor says. 

"My sons." Odin says, shocking Loki, "I have been waiting for you."

"We've come to take you home," Thor says.

"Home, yes. Your mother, she calls me. Do you hear it?" Odin tells them.

"Loki, lift your magic," Thor tells Loki, sounding distressed.

Loki shakes his head as if saying no.

"Took me quite a while to break free of your spell," Odin chuckles, "Frigga would have been proud. Sit with me, I don't have that long."

They sit on a large rock.

"I know we've failed you, but we can make this right," Thor says.

 Odin says, "I failed you. Tis upon us, Ragnarok."

"No, I've stopped Ragnarok. I put an end to Satur." Thor denies.

"No, it's already begun. She's coming. My life was all that held her back, but my time has come." Odin says.

Loki and Thor look at each other in worry.

"I cannot keep her away any longer," Odin says staring off into the distance.

"Who are you talking about?" Thor asks.

"Goddess of death, Hela. My firstborn." Odin explains, "Your sister."

"I did not see that coming." You mumble.

"Our what?" Thor asks.

"A violent habadites rule beyond my control. Couldn't stop it so I imprisoned her. Locked her away, she too courses power from Asgard. Once she gets there, her power will be limitless."

"Whatever she is, we can stop her together. We can face her together." Thor hesitates.

"No, I'm on a different path now. This you must face alone. I love you, my sons." Odin tells them.

You look at Loki, he's really shocked. You recall him telling you no one had ever said they loved him. That's why he's so shocked. You think.

"Look at that," Odin says as he points out at the water, "Remember this place. Home."

Odin evaporates into golden dust. Thor and Loki stand up and follow the dust to the edge of the cliff. A storm starts stirring.

"Thor, calm down." You mumble, knowing it's not going to do anything if you say it to him.

"Brother," Loki says, trying to calm Thor down and failing, "Brother!"

"This, was your doing," Thor says as lightning sparks off his fingers.

They both look as though they're about to fight. You start running over to them in order to stop them before it gets bad but a black portal opens. You stop so abruptly you fall backward. Thor and Loki face the portal and start walking towards it. In a blast of lightning, Thor and Loki are in their Asgardian outfits. The portal closes and you see a woman in a skin-tight black suit with silver embellishments. 

"So he's gone. A shame, I would've liked to have seen that." She says.

"You must be Hela." Thor states, "I'm Thor, son of Odin."

"Really? You don't look like him." Hela says. 

"Perhaps we can come to an arrangement," Loki tells her.

"You sound like him." She says, "Kneel."

"I beg your pardon," Loki says sounding like he's heard this before.

"Kneel," She summons a sword out of thin air, "Before your queen."

"I don't think so," Thor says as he throws his hammer at her.

Hela catches it. You gasp in shock. The tail of the hammer was floating, indicating Thor was trying to get it back.

"It's not possible," Thor says in shock.

"Darling, you have no idea what's possible," Hela says as she starts crushing Mjolnir.

The pieces of Mjolnir fall to the ground. Hela runs her hands over her head, and a horned helmet appears. She summons two swords and walks toward Thor and Loki.

"No!" You say as you get up and try to stop her. She hits you to the feet of the brothers.

"Bring us back!" Loki shouts.

"No!" Thor disagrees as a bright colorful light blasts upon you.

You see a dark sky with stars around you. You look down and see Hela flying up behind the three of you. She knocks Loki out of the Bifrost then she does the same to Thor. You can't help but think This is the end. She's going to kill me. She comes behind you and blasts you out of the Bifrost. The only thing you see before passing out is the sky.
