Temptation (complete)

Chapter twenty-seven

You hop up and fight Thanos' minion. Spider-Man throws a car at him. A red cloak flies past you.

"Kid! That's the wizard! Get on it!" Tony shouts.

"On it!"

You attack him from behind, using your powers to try and calm him, but you can't get in his head.

He latches an electricity hook onto Tony, causing his suit to go haywire. You wipe the blood off your nose and blast him.

"Not happening!"

You slowly get closer and closer. You get close enough to punch him but he smacks you back.

"I am not liking this 'Blast y/n back' thing!"

He lunges at Tony but a portal opens. He falls through. The new guy closes the portal as the minion nearly gets through, cutting off the minion's hand.

"Wong! You're invited to my wedding."

Tony flies up to the ship, which has left the atmosphere. You fly up, trying to get to him, but you fall because you haven't learned everything about being the 'guardian'. You try again. You get up finally. You get inside with Tony.

Tony loudly whispers, "Why'd you come?!"

"Um, cause you needed me." You respond.

"No! We do not need someone else who could mess things up!"

"Uh, you might wanna be careful about the way you talk to me. I can destroy you and not even raise a finger."

"And why couldn't you protect Loki?"

This pisses you off. It takes everything in you to not scream at him and push him off the ledge.

"Listen, you Bitch, I couldn't protect Loki because it was his decision. I didn't see anything meaning I didn't know he was sacrificing himself until it was too late. Now, next time you bring up Loki will be the last time you bring up anything." You threaten.

"You don't have to heart to kill me."

"You're right. But I can rip out your tongue."

"Uh, guys, the guy is torturing the wizard." Spider-Man whispers.

You look down upon Squidward and Stephen.

"Okay, kid, what's your plan?"

"Okay, have you seen this really old movie, Aliens?"

You roll your eyes. You feel a flash coming. You flash to a dark planet. The planet Loki fake died on. You see Loki, lounging around. You look very confused, trying to figure this out.

"Give my Darling a message, tell her I'm sorry about everything I've done. Tell her she can find me on Svartalfheim." Loki says to a shadowy figure, "Give her this as well," He hands the figure a small gold box.

You squint at it and realize it's a ring box, a wedding ring box. You feel a sting in the back of your eyes, tears. A tear stumbles down your face and drops to the ground. When it hits the ground a flash of gold blinds you. When your vision clears Loki is standing right in front of you and you look around, you're now on a planet that is white and gold, reminding you of Asgard. Loki grazes your cheek with his hand and pulls you in for a hug. He murmurs in your ear, "I love you, darling." He pulls away and wipes the tears off of your face.

"Loki, you left me again, the thing you promised you wouldn't do again." You start crying even more.

"I know darling, and I am so sorry, really, but I needed to save you. I don't know what I would do if you died instead of me."

"Where am I?"

"Valhalla. The haven of the dead. It's where all the war heroes go if they die in combat."

"You-You're a war hero!" You cry more and more by the second, as your vision blurs.

Loki lets go of you, "I need to go now. Promise me one thing, that you'll never forget me but move on."

"What? No! Loki I can't move on!"

Loki slowly walks away after placing a soft kiss on your forehead, "Do it for me." He says calmly as he walks into a shining light.

"Loki!! Please come back!" You yell, "I can't lose you too." You whisper, falling to the ground.

You snap back to reality to see Strange, Stark, and Spider-Man on the landing with Squidward nowhere in sight.
