Temptation (complete)

Chapter eight

You wake up to him holding your hand. You smile and get up after Loki moves his head. You grab some food and sit on your bed to eat it. You get a call. You answer.

"Hello?" You say.

You hear a mans voice say, "Hey, y/n. I just wanted to say I'm sorry."

It's your ex.

"Sorry for the cheating, abuse, shitty personality, the multiple times you told me I wasn't worth it or the mental torture?" You say.

"All of it." 

"Well uh you're gonna need a lot more than just an apology to make up for all that."

"Exactly, open your hotel room door." He says.

You go over to open the door and see him, Alan, your ex. Tall, buff, green eyes, pitch black hair,  chizzled face, and threatening posture like always.

"Go away. I don't need to deal with you right now." You say.

Alan pushes past you into your room. Loki stands up in a threatening posture. 

"Who the hell is this?!" Alan yells.

"I am-"

"No one! Don't worry about it." You quickly say.

"Who is this y/n?" Loki asks.

"My shitty ex that no one likes." You say looking Alan directly in the face. His face stiffens in anger.

"I am not shitty." He says looking like he's about to blow up.

"Hm. Anger issues still. You'd think you'd have taken care of it. Especially after two years." You say bitterly.

"Your ex?" Loki questions.

"Yeah, I'll explain later." You say over Alan's shoulder him towering over you.

"You didn't answer my question. Who is this guy?" Alan says in a threatening tone.

"My boyfriend. Now leave, before I kick your ass out." You say.

"You? Kick my ass?" He says.

He grabs your arm firmly and drags you out of the room. You see Loki chasing you out. He creates a knife out of thin air. You mind speak to him, Don't do anything, understand? I've got this. You start punching, kicking, and screaming. Alan doesn't let go. Loki doesn't listen to you, runs over, and stabs Alan.

"Loki!" You yell.

Alan towers over Loki and punches him. Loki falls to the ground. You get mad at this and you take control of Alan's mind. You hear his voice in his head.

"What? What the hell is happening?!" He says. "Why can't I control my body!?"

You get kicked out of his mind. But you got out of his grip. You punch him in the face repeatedly.

"Loki! Go back in the room and go on my phone! There should be numbers on the screen! Click nine one one!" You yell at Loki. He runs in the room and does exactly what you told him. He runs back out and is holding your phone. You start screaming. Loki puts the phone up to his ear.

"She's getting taken by the jerk!" He says.

Alan grabs your wrists again. This time tighter than before. His nails are digging into your skin. He drags you out behind the building. He pins you to the ground and you start crying.

"Alan! This is insane! You need mental help!" You yell.

He starts kissing your neck and slowly moves toward you mouth. Right then you see flashing blue and red lights.

You hear, "Alan Cole! Let her go or we will fire!!"

He doesn't listen and you hear a loud bang. Alan falls off you. A cop comes over and helps you up.

"Ma'am, are you okay?" She asks.

"I'm fine. Thank you." You say while wiping the tears off your face. You look down and see Alan on the ground.

"Is he dead?" You ask.

"No. I hit him in a nonfatal area." The officer replies.

Loki comes running.

"Y/n! Oh my god! Are you okay darling?!" Loki says.

"I'm fine Loki. I promise." You tell him.

"Good."

"I'm going to need you to come in for questioning about him." The officer says.

"Alright. Let's go. Can he come with me?" You ask.

"Yeah he can." She says.

You all go to the police station. You and Loki sit in an interrogation room. The officer from earlier comes in and sits in a chair across from you.

"So, what has Alan done to you?" She asks.

"He abused me, mentally tortured me, threatened to kill me, and cheated. That last one isn't against the law I just wanted people to know he's a dirt bag." You explain.

"Alright. Do you have valid proof he did this?"

You show her a scar on your arm.

"He took a knife out of the knife block and slashed my arm with it." You say.

"Ok. Let me write that down. Anything else?"

You show her a huge scar on your side and say, "This is from his m90. The attempted murder part."

"Alright. That's it?"

"Yeah." You tell her.

She leaves the room.

"This man is evil. On Asgard the penalty is death to abuse of someone." Loki says.

"Well this isn't Asgard Loki." You reply.

"No it isn't but he deserves to be punished." Loki says.

"You're right."

The officer walks back in.

"He has been cleared of all charges. I'm sorry." She says.

"What!?" You scream. "He's gonna come after me again!"

"Calm down. He's on probation." She replies.

"That's not good enough! He hurt me! In the most painful ways possible! You're just gonna let him roam free?! He's insane! He needs mental help! You need to put him in a mental hospital!" You yell.

"Ma'am, I need you to calm down immediately." She tells you.
