Ella had showered and dressed in shorts and a t-shirt before pulling her hair up in a messy bun. Then took it down and put it in a ponytail, only to fret about how she was supposed to dress or act now. Screw it. She put the messy bun back up, grabbed some sandals and headed to the kitchen. She was hungry and this was her, he would just have to deal with it.
Ella did not find Ray in the kitchen as expected, but Torsten was sitting at the counter, drinking coffee, and scrolling through his phone. "Morning." She said cheerfully as she walked around the counter and made herself a cup.
"Morning best friend." He grinned that silly grin of his and she laughed. "What?" She giggled at his expression. "Heard you got lucky." He wiggled his eyebrows. "I did not. We only kissed this morning." "Not what I heard." "Well whatever you heard, it was incorrect." Ella rolled her eyes as she took out a cup.
"Heard he was in your bed, naked. To me that is something." "He was not naked." "But he was in your bed." "Yes, I invited him in this morning to rest. He sat in a chair all night watching over me, and I knew he was tired." She rolled her eyes again and looked for the chocolate donuts she had hidden in the back of the pantry.
"Tell me he at least got to second base." Torsten teased. "NO!" "No he didn't, or no you will not tell me?" "No, he did not, and no, I will not be sharing anything." "Chicken." "Yeah, I'm the chicken." She threw a Twinkie at him and he caught it and opened it. "Why thank you, just what I wanted."
"Where are the donuts?" Ella groaned as she dug into the pantry, leaning in to look deeper on the shelf she knew she had hidden it. Damn dragons sniff out everything! She growled and then pulled herself out, only to turn to see two men staring at her, both with a wicked grin.
"What?" She looked between Torsten and Ray. "Best view I am going to get all day." Torsten laughed as he blocked her slap. "He was looking too!" Torsten laughed as he pointed to Ray. "He's allowed." "I am?" Ray looked shocked. "Well yeah, you are my mate, right?" She watched as a satisfied smiled crossed Ray's face, and in two steps, he had her in his arms, stroking her face.
"Yes, you are." Ray smiled, then leaned in for a kiss and she almost lost herself, before remembering Torsten was sitting there. Quickly she let him go, wiped her mouth, and straightened her shirt.
"Please, carry on." Torsten winked. "Stop. You guys are just a bunch of perverts." Ella groaned. "Yes, we are." Torsten laughed again, then drained his coffee and gave her a hug on his way out. Ella adored him so much.
"It was a fine view." Ray leaned into her ear from the side. "And I do hope you were serious." Ray added, his voice soft against her hear. "About?" Ella asked. "Being my mate." "I am coming around to the idea." She turned to him and smiled as she hooked a finger into the collar of his t-shirt and pulled him closer.
"I am still made at you, but something in the way you look and smell, I just cannot help myself from touching you." "Touch away, please." Ray whispered as his hands laid on her lower back, pulling her closer still, and holding her there.
His nose brushed hers as her hands ran up his arms. "You know, for a human, you smell incredible." "You do too, for a dragon." She smiled as his lips moved closer, his left hand sliding just a bit lower. He did not kiss her though, just held her to him.
"That hand gets any lower and this is going to get obscene." She giggled. "Oh, I want that, trust me." He leaned in and kissed her, moving his hand lower and she groaned into his mouth causing him to kiss her harder than this morning, but then quickly pulled back.
"Not here. Not like this." He said more to himself, but she held his arms to keep him in place. "No one said you had to leave." "If I keep holding you against me, I might take you right here, and that is not an option." He kissed her nose, then her cheek, and over to her ear.
