"HOW DARE SHE COMPARE ME TO A PONY!" Ragnar roared again as he flew high against the moon. "That tiny human has no idea who I am! I should have stomped her out the minute she came into my home with her flowery perfume and large blue eyes! She has no right to judge me!" Ragnar roared again knowing he was having a conversation with himself.
He was going to show her! He was going to set fire to something and show her just how powerful he was. IS! He IS powerful and wise, and she was going to see it. Damn humans think they know everything.
He swooped down near the manor and could see the group of men on the lawn. To hell with them too. He was still a royal! He roared again, causing them all to look up and he laughed as he flew off into the mountains for something to chase.

When Ragnar returned home at dawn, he found Leif and Sal on his doorstep. "Go away." He grumbled. "Are you going to talk about what happened last night?" Leif stood up. "Nothing to discuss." "Ragnar." Sal walked around to the large door as Ragnar hit the button.
"Keep her away from me." Ragnar grumbled. "Are you sure about that?" Sal chuckled making Ragnar huff out. "Yes. She is annoying and..." "Pretty?" Sal teased. "No. She is human and pisses me off." "And yet, you came out and flew to her window." Leif was teasing too, and he did not like it at all.
"Was not me." Ragnar huffed as he stepped inside. "Was too. I saw you leave the house." Leif crossed his arms. Ragnar did not like his friends ganging up on him. "Fine. I wanted to see where she was sleeping. I was hoping the dungeon." Ragnar growled as he went into his house.
"She is way too sweet for that." Sal told Leif. "Did you know she got Torsten to take her side against me, even while we were pursued by those damn wolves out on Astarot's ridge?" Sal chuckled.
"Wolves?" Ragnar turned to face Sal. "Wolves chased her?" He growled as the thought of those mutts harming her came to mind.
"Thought you didn't care?" Sal grinned. "I do not. She is your human, you should care." Ragnar grumbled. "I do care, greatly. However, she is not my human. She does not want me. In fact, she tells me often she is too good for me." Sal smiled at Leif.
Ragnar was not sure why Sal was telling him this, he wanted nothing to do with that tiny human and he huffed again. Sal could have her.
"You are grumpy today." Leif laughed. "Your human disturbed my hunt last night. Then she pestered me with her awful questions. Why is she here?" Ragnar turned to stare down Sal.
"Not my human, and her name is Ella. I am sure she would appreciate you calling her that instead. She is here to research dragons and is putting together some documents for Allan." Sal hoped his story was believable.
"Then?" Ragnar questioned. "Then what?" Sal was stalling. "When she is done, she will go away?" Ragnar paced outside his house. "You know the rules. Once Allan is done with the project, no human leaves here alive." Even knowing it was not true still tore at Sal's chest and he only hoped Ragnar could not sense it.
"Allan is going to kill her?" Ragnar suddenly felt anger. "Well, that depends on you." Sal was hopeful. "Me?" "Yes. If you help her with her project, Allan will listen to you. You could be the one to spare her life." "I will do no such thing." Ragnar turned and went deeper into the building.
"Ok, well, your choice Ragnar. She is going to do the project with or without you. And without you her chances of staying alive are less." Sal called out. "You fight for her." Ragnar called back. "I already tried my friend." Sal looked at a surprised Leif.
"No matter, I do not care. Keep the human away. I am not a science project. I could care less what happens to her. Now go, I am tired." He laid his body down and the exhaustion took over. Time was running out for him, and just that little bit of activity should have him sleeping for days.
