A lovesick corpse

I just wanted to hear you laugh
I just wanted to hear you cry,or shout or yell

I just wanted you to show emotion
So I know I wasn't dealing with another hollow piece of clay
Another weird occurrence called human

I just wanted to know if you felt
I wanted to know if you cried when I died or if you were happy when we got married

I see you now
From here,I see you clearly in your grey tux, your hair as shiny as ever, sucking calmly on the bundle of sucrose on the stick in your hand..

You look at peace,so I guess you do feel.
Just not for people,at least not me

I guess my wants have been satisfied.
Now I want you to love me but my metal encasing won't let you

Because what we had is approximately six feet under.
