Head Back

When it got too dark and too cold, Eugene and Gabe headed their separate ways. Eugene headed back to his dad's house and Gabe went back to East Brick for dinner. Gabe could barely stomach the food, he just hoped it would be hot as he was freezing. He checked his phone and saw there had been barely and conversations in the group chat which was very odd. This whole day had been odd for Gabe and just put it off to the church burning. The occult had always swirled around Saints Row, and events like this just cemented people's crazy conspiracy theories. Gabe didn't believe any of it and put down to the Satanic Panic that swept the nation years ago. When he got into Eats Brick, the receptionist looked up, realized it wasn't anyone important and looked back down at their game of solitaire on the computer. Gabe joined the rest of the kids in the cafeteria and saw it was spaghetti bolognese on the menu. He got a bowl and sat down with his roommate, Landon. "Hey dude", Gabe said as he sat beside his friend. Landon gave Gabe a smile, "Where's this madman been?". Gabe shrugged, "I've been around". Landon put a fork of spaghetti in his mouth. Landon was originally from London, but his parents moved over here for family as his mother's mother was from Ohio and she got sick. Unfortunately, the decision would also take Landon's family as his parents were on their way to the hospital when they died in a head-on collision. Landon didn't want to go back to London, so he put himself up for adoption here. Landon is sixteen, has blue eyes and black hair.

When Marlon left work for the day, he had a massive headache from all the thinking he had been doing. Earl had also been getting on his nerves so Marlon didn't have a good day in all. He had to try to play off his frustration before he got home to his family. He sighed as he lazily turned the corner to his estate and pulled his Toyota Corolla into the driveway of his two-storey home. He got out of his car, took a deep breath and entered his home where his wife, Theresa, was finishing up their dinner to serve. "Hey guys", Marlon said as he took his shoes off, "I'm home". "There was another incident at school today", Theresa said, "I don't know how those kids get taught anything". "It didn't result in anything did it?", Marlon asked, "I didn't hear anything at work about it". Theresa shrugged as she put the plates out for their two children. "Kids", Theresa shouted as Marlon took his seat at the oak dining table. Their son, Jackson, who is eleven came bounding down the stairs to his seat. Their daughter, Faith, was slower but eventually came down. "So", Marlon began, "More trouble at school I hear". Faith sighed, "It was just drugs, dad", she said, "Not a stabbing". "I really think you should consider that Airstream school", Marlon said with a mouthful of potato in his mouth, "You will pass your SATs there". Faith shook her head, "No", she said, "I like Saints Row". Marlon sighed, he was only looking out for his daughters future that she was throwing away.
