Earl and Marlon returned to Saints Row police station with little information. "I hate it when cases start like this", Marlon said, looking up at the sky and seeing rain clouds forming. "It's better than exhausting ourselves", Earl said, "We'll do house calls again tomorrow". They headed into the shot looking building with very little funding. "Hey, Bob", Marlon said to the policeman who manned the desk, "Anything happening?". Bob shook his head, "Not much, just a few more calls from the school". Marlon nodded and left the conversation there. Earl sat at his desk with a pen and a beat-up notepad. "What you thinking?", Marlon asked, sitting in the spare chair by his partner. Earl shrugged, "That's it", he retorted, "Just thinking". Marlon nodded. "Serg is not going to be happy with this", he commented, "A dead family and a church burning, just the publicity the area needs". Earl gave up trying to think; They were going nowhere.
Gabe and the group ended up at the cinema watching some thriller a couple of them wanted to see. It was awful and Gabe ended up falling asleep. Eugene shook him awake when the movie was over. "You okay?", Eugene asked with sympathy in his eyes, "You've been off all day". Gabe nodded, "Yeah", he answered, "I guess the church burning has kind of thrown me sideways". Eugene nodded. "Where did the others go?", Gabe asked, looking around the empty theatre. "They just bounced", Eugene said, "They've been acting super weird as well". Gabe nodded, he got up out his seat and headed out with Eugene. "Anything you want to do?", Gabe asked as they got outside. Eugene shrugged, "I don't mind", he said, "We can just loiter I guess". This made Gabe laugh, "Let's be real teenagers and loiter". The two friends headed to the corner shop to loiter. Eugene was curious what had gotten into everyone though.
