When the school bell rang for the next class, Gabe was thankful, all that French just went through one ear and right out the other. His next class was Chemistry, but just as Gabe got in his seat, an announcement was made over the intercom. "Dear all students", Principal O'Dwyer started, "Due to an unforeseen event, school is cancelled until further notice. Please leave the school premises as soon as possible. Thank you". Gabe smiled as he jumped out his seat and left the school. He encountered Eugene, Jerome, Faith and Ross at the school gates. "Yo", Gabe said, "What happened?". "I think some drugs were found", Faith said, "I'm not sure though". Ross shrugged. "Maybe its to do with the arson", Jerome speculated, pushing his black, spikey hair back while he looked at his group of friends through his blue eyes. "Who the fuck knows", Eugene said, "It's Saints Row, it could be anything". The group nodded in agreement. "Since schools been blown off", Ross began, "How about we go out". "Should we wait for James and Pamela?", Gabe asked, looking back at the school doors. "I think they went back to their houses already", Ross said, "So, let's go". Gabe had no plans so he joined the group. He hoped it was fun whatever they did.
Earl and Marlon sat in Eileen Denby's house for an hour as she nattered on about how great the church community was. "Eileen, this is all great", Earl said, "But we really need some information about suspicious people". Eileen looked taken aback and stopped. "As I said before", she said, "Nobody stood out to me". Marlon scratched the back of his neck, he was getting restless. "Thank you for your time, Eileen", Earl said, getting up and heading for the door. Eileen smiled a goodbye as the two detectives walked out. "Well that was a good hour wasted", Earl said, sighing. "Should we continue to knock on doors?", Marlon asked. Earl shrugged, "No harm in doing so". Just as Marlon walked up to the next houses front door, he spotted two teenagers. "Hey!", Marlon shouted, which made the two teens stop in their tracks. "Come over here for a second", Marlon shouted, The two teens made their way over to the detectives. "What are you kids doing out so early?", Marlon asked. "School closed", the boy answered, "No big deal, happens all the time". Earl pushed in, "Would you two know anything bout the church burning?". The two teens shook their heads, "Not a thing", the girl answered, "Only heard about it this morning". Marlon sent them on their ay and they both sighed. They were getting nowhere.
