When Marlon walked into the station, he saw Earl who was looking at the newspaper. "We better get a move on", Earl said to Marlon, "Satanic panic is already starting". Marlon sighed and took a seat next to Earl, "That's what we need", he said in a sarcastic tone. "I have heard nothing from anyone we tried to contact yesterday", Earl said, "You have any thoughts?". "I had a few", Marlon said. Earl nodded, "Shoot". Marlon took a breath before speaking, "I was thinking as it was done at night, maybe young-adults. As it was a church, maybe they were setting a statement? And they thought the building was unoccupied which is an easy target to anyone". Earl nodded, "Those are some good thoughts", he said, "But we still have no witnesses". "No CCTV either", Marlon said, "We are going to get slain".
In school, Gabe couldn't stop thinking about the crime. He was zoning out, theorizing who could have done it. An anonymous tip line had been set up and posters with the phone-number were scattered throughout the school. "This is one of the most interesting things to have happened here", Jerome argued, eating his cheese string. "I wonder if the police have any suspects", Pamela said, looking at her friends. "Four people died", Gabe said, "I hope they catch the bastards that did it". "This is total black metal vibes", James continued, "Norway has come to Saints Row". Gabe rolled his eyes, his friends had no sympathy except for Eugene. "Isn't their parents meeting tonight?", Ross asked. "Yeah", Faith said, "It's to try and calm down the community. I think my mom's going". "I'll show up with an upside-down cross drawn on my forehead with an inverted pentagram on my palm", Jerome said, "Hail Satan". "That's some Richard Ramirez shit", Pamela said, "I dare you to do it". "Twenty-bucks and I'll do it", Jerome said with a smile on his face. Pamela dig into her pocket and pulled out a twenty-dollar-bill. "I'll see you at six tonight then", Jerome said, pocketing the money, "Hail Satan". Gabe was so over this.
