"What do you mean, challenge?", Earl asked, raising an eyebrow to Jerome. Jerome was really sweating now. "Our initiation", Jerome said. Marlon and Earl liked where they had Jerome; he was spilling his guts. "Okay Jerome, calm down", Marlon said, "Who put you up to this?". "I don't know", Jerome said, "I was roped in at the last minute really. I had plans but they fell through. The other 3 had asked me ages earlier and I declined but I had nothing to do so I tagged along". "Did you know where the others were going and what their intentions were?", Earl asked. "No", Jerome said, "They said they were going to some party. They didn't tell me until we were there". Earl looked Jerome in his eyes; he seemed like he was telling the truth so he decided to ease up on him. "Who are the other 3, Jerome?", Earl asked, "We know you don't want to tell on your peers but it would really help us". Without even thinking Jerome spilt the names. "Faith Roco, James Mikal and Ross Waters". When Marlon heard one of the names, he didn't believe what Jerome had just said; his own daughter was involved in this. 

After the confession and they got the other three names, they charged Jerome with the crime of arson and the murder of 4 people. They locked Jerome in a holding cell and then the two detectives got back in contact with Thomas. Marlon felt ill after that confession and went to the bathroom while Earl made the call. He threw up in the bathroom and then washed his hands. Marlon looked at himself in the mirror and started to cry; what had he done wrong to make his daughter choose this path? Marlon grabbed a tissue and dried his eyes. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and considered phoning his wife, but decided against it as it would just also make her ill. Maron couldn't let Faith know he was arresting her. He needed to play it cool and tr and get as much time with her as possible. This was the end of his family.
