Jerome tapped his feet anxiously as his mind swayed between telling the truth. "Jerome", Tim said, "If you have something to say you better say it now before you dig too big of a hole". He felt his mouth go dry suddenly as he reached for the cup of water and took a sip. He made up his mind; it was time to fess up. "Me and a few others were out", Jerome said, "Nothing too bad". "We can see you and a few others were out", Marlon said, "We would like to know what you were doing at 4 in the morning running away from what we presume is the church". Jerome pinched his thigh. "We were just out, ya know", Jerome said, "Drinking and stuff. Normal things". "Just a coincidence that a church was burnt out a couple of minutes up the road from you then, huh?", Earl said. Jerome was really sweating now. "Just tell us Jerome", Marlon said, "It's better to get things cleared up earlier rather than later". Jerome looked around the room and then caved. "Okay", Jerome said, "I was with the others and we had just come from the church". "Now we're getting somewhere", Earl said. "What motivated you and the other assailants to set this church on fire?", Marlon asked. Jerome shook his head, the fact his uncle was hearing all of this made it 100 times worse. "We had to do it", Jerome said, "It was part of our challenge". Roco and Eral were intrigued. They were dealing with some sort of group. One had admitted, now they had to find the other 3.
