Evelyn Cassiopeia Malfoy was now eleven years old and standing in Beauxbatons, a wizarding school in France. She had no idea why she was there and not in the one most children go to when living in Britain, the one called Hogwarts. She'd had a younger brother who was two years younger than her and she knew that she'd never get treated the same as him. He'd be raised as an heir to whatever Malfoy family things like the Manor and such while she'd be raised to marry some pureblooded rich boy.

While Hogwarts's sorted their students with a old hat, Beauxbatons sorted their children differently. You were given a silver bow and arrow and had to shoot it across the room. After a moment the arrow would burst into sparks of the color of one of the three houses. Beauxbatons had three houses while Hogwarts had the famous four. The first was Bellefeuille which had the color green and was represented by five leaves. It was a mix of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw really. The next house was Ombrelune which was represented by the color grey and a sinister looking moon was their symbol. Ombrelune was the Slytherin of Beauxbatons. The final house was shown with the color purple and a beautiful butterfly which matched the Hufflepuff-like children.

Evelyn entered the room full of students as she and her first-year classmates made their way to the silver bow and arrow in front of them. Her hair was a long, curly blonde as her skin was pale. Her eyes were a gorgeous grey that most every Malfoy had. After watching a few other children go, Evelyn heard her name called by the headmistress, Madam Maxine. Evelyn stepped up and took the pretty bow and arrow in hand, pulling the arrow back on the string. She soon released her grip with a deep breath and watched the arrow fly into the air before bursting into grey sparks.

"Ombrelune!" Madam Maxine shouted cheerfully as one of the tables burst into applause and cheers, the others slow clapping.

Evelyn made her way over and sat herself down at the table. People were glancing at her, whispering to the person next to them. She knew the kids at Beauxbatons could be a bit nasty but the some weren't so bad. Most just stayed in their groups she learned. Most if not all the students loved gossip and just annoying or making fun of the younger kids or just the odd ones. Evelyn thought she'd be invited to their groups but instead would end up to be the one who would be teased for reasons unknown. This confused her as she truly thought her name would give her something. She'd been taught being a Malfoy was a privilege and how she'd be respected but instead she was whispered about and avoided. She laid her head on the table and prayed to disappear. She prayed her schooling would end quickly.
