Evelyn awoke in the golden hours of morning to an annoying tapping. It came from a snowy owl as it pecked the window with a thick letter in its beaks grip. Evelyn stood up lazily, walking over and shoving the window open then taking the letter from the bird. Except, the 'thick letter' was three letters instead of one. The bird flew off silently as Evelyn flipped the letters over to see whom they were from.

The top one had Narcissa's neat cursive which she inherited.

The middle had Draco's rather messy but neat writing.

The last was Lucius's bold lettering which he didn't bother to make neat.

Evelyn brought the sealed envelopes in her hand and left Ginny's bedroom. She walked down the steps, a creak coming from her feet as the wood was rather old. The fire was still blazing thankfully. Evelyn took Lucius's letter first, looking at it momentarily before tossing it carelessly. Next she tossed Narcissa's which she didn't even hesitate to toss. Lastly, Draco's. She sighed before opening the envelope and reading silently as she awkwardly stood in the Weasley's living room and kitchen area. Whatever it was.

Dear Evelyn,

Father's asked me to write to you. Mother as well. You'll listen to me, right? They both do want you to come home to the Manor. I do too. I miss you. Please come back. For me. Mom misses you terribly and Father does too.

Love,

Draco

Evelyn frowned at the letter. Draco was rather soft around her but was never this soft to write a short letter telling her to go home. She knew damn well he'd been told to write this and most likely had Lucius over his shoulder as he did so. Evelyn folded the parchment, placing it gently into the envelope. The fire burned the other letters as Evelyn held the last one.

"Why are you awake so early?" A deep, raspy voice asked. Evelyn turned and saw Fred Weasley in Gryffindor plaid pajama pants and a black baggy shirt. Rubbing his eyes with a fisted hand.

She smiled with a hum. Then stared over him as he was absolutely gorgeous before looking back to his eyes which were squinted from the sunlight. Evelyn looked down at the letter, easily ripping it in half before tossing the letter halves into the blaze. Fred looked rather confused. His brow fell and wrinkles formed on his forehead. They were light but noticeable.

"Why'd you do that?" He asked, a crack in his voice which made him clear his throat before repeating the phrase.

"No reason." She grinned like a cat. Evelyn wiped her hands off before sitting herself on the couch. She leant her head back and stared thoughtlessly at the ceiling. She felt someone sit beside her before a warm hand clasped her own. She didn't pull it away and didn't really mind the pretty brown eyes that looked over her features.
