Dressed back in her wedding dress that now fit perfectly, Evelyn stared at herself in the mirror. Her veil wasn't over her face just yet. She held a bouquet of red roses. She quickly took out a packet of birth control in her purse and took a pill so she could avoid an unwanted pregnancy. She heard footsteps down the hall and shoved the packet away. Evelyn wiped a falling tear as the door opened and Narcissa entered the room. Her smile was bright and she spat out compliments. She led Evelyn out of the room and into the hall. Lucius stood by a closed door in a black suit. He had no smile on his face when she walked over.

"You look very nice." Lucius complimented in a very forced tone.

Evelyn took his arm with no smile but once the doors open, a smile crossed her face. They entered the room and walked down the aisle. Everyone stood and the music played throughout the room. Evelyn kept her gaze to the floor before she was at the alter and had to look at Alexander.

During the whole ceremony no one really smiled. A real smile. Draco looked rather uncomfortable while Alexander was impatient with how long it was taking. Narcissa had a smile but it looked a bit fake and forced. Finally the vows came. Narcissa wrote them for her and when Evelyn spoke she had no emotion. When Alexander's vows came it was very cookie cutter. The whole 'I want to spend my life with you' and 'I'll love you forever' type of thing which was basically the same thing Evelyn read out so it wasn't a big deal.

When the kiss came, Alexander held her jaw and pulled her in rather harshly. Evelyn's face cringed in the long, forced kiss as she heard a photo being taken of them. When the two pulled away they walked down the aisle and left the room. Alexander immediately walked off to be alone so Evelyn went to her dressing room and simply cried.

The next day in the Daily Prophet was a photo of the kiss. Fred saw the photo and couldn't help but stare at it until George took it away and burned it. He was so focused on the photo because of her face. She wasn't happy and seemed a bit disgusted. Also, his grip on her jaw wasn't making him feel any better. Also the fact when they pulled apart in the moving picture, she was looking at the floor uncomfortably while Burke was looking at the guests. George made him tea and said to just 'forget about it', which Fred decided to try. When he tried to sleep that night all he could picture was how miserable she was.
