Evelyn's eyes met with Lucius's as he grabbed her hand and pulled her harshly to her feet, the Weasley's coming out to see what was going on. You'd think he'd at least thank the Weasley's for taking her in but no, he was furious with them for some reason. No reason at all actually.

"What are you doing in this disgusting place with these blood traitors!?" Lucius spat at Evelyn who was now glaring up at him for ruining her peaceful evening.

"First of all, they aren't even as bad as you make it sound." Evelyn took her hand from his grip and continued. "Second, I guess I tripped and was knocked out and F- Weasley," She quickly corrected herself with a rising pink blush. "Took me here instead of leaving me on the grass. This place is much better than that shitty Manor of yours anyways."

To Evelyn's surprise, a firm slap came across her face. Lucius raised a stern finger at her as she held her stinging cheek with her jaw open, both Molly's and Fred's as well.

"Do not disrespect me, Evelyn." Lucius warned furiously.

"I wasn't-" A loud shush came from Lucius and she shut up as he walked over to Arthur who had just come out to see what was going on. Evelyn watched with wide eyes as he tried to punch the man and quickly grabbed her fathers jacket, pulling him away. Lucius stumbled back but didn't fall and quickly smoothed out his jacket. "Don't fucking touch him! He didn't even do anything to you! What? Are you gonna attack him for existing?"

"Evelyn. You are my daughter-"

"You lost the privilege to say I'm your daughter long ago! You barely treat me like family for merlin's sake and now I'm your daughter?" Evelyn shouted at the man who stood with his jaw clenched shut. "The moment I turn seventeen I'm leaving you and everyone else behind and telling all your dirty little secrets to the Daily Prophet."

At that Lucius grabbed her forearm, sliding his hand to hers then apperating away and causing the ring Fred gave her to slip off while the one Tonk's had given her was only centimeters from falling but stayed on. Fred picked the ring up and turned to his parents and George who were all rather confused on what just happened.

"Sorry, Ginny and I were playing a game of wizard's chess." Ron said with a sigh as the two came outside and looked for something. "What was going on out here?"

"Uhm, nothing." George lied before going back inside. Fred followed then they carried on with their day and didn't mention the situation at all.

(I loved this chapter when I planned it but it seems very cringey now that I write it. I apologize for that :I)
