They were back at Hogwarts and Evelyn seemed to spend every moment with Fred. She'd study with him and though they ate their meals separately, the moment they finished they left to talk with one another. They acted like lovestruck children. More than before at least. George finally asked Fred simply why they weren't dating.

Fred responded saying, "I'd rather ask her out when she's in an okay place. She's just stressed at the moment with school and says she likes to talk to me as it's calming."

"Right." George nodded with his hands in his pockets and brow furrowed. A smirk crossed his face as he spoke again. "That's not her only reason you know." He said with a wink but Fred only squinted in disgusted.

Evelyn walked over, the heels on her shoes giving her approach away. Fred turned toward her swiftly and with his full attention on her.

"Hello George. How are you?" Evelyn asked kindly, her hands behind her back as she wore heeled black shoes with a buckle and a black skirt hanging down to her mid thigh. She wore a black buckle then a butterscotch yellow short sleeved top that was open in her chest which showed a pretty necklace with 'W' hanging on it in cursive. George noticed this as he winked at Fred before responded.

"Absolutely fabulous! How are you, dear?" George flirted, leaning forward slightly to tease her in a friendly way.

"Alright I suppose." Evelyn hummed awkwardly then took half-a-step away from George and toward Fred. "How are you, Fred?"

"George said it perfectly." He smiled. "I do love your outfit today. You look very pretty."

"As do you." Evelyn replied quickly with a bit of a sigh, her eyelashes fluttering slightly. "I do think George is much more of a ladies man though."

"I told him that months ago." George shook his head dramatically with an eye roll mixed in. "He just doesn't believe I'm the hotter twin."

"Settle this for us, Evelyn." Fred stood beside George quickly. "Who's better looking?"

"Honestly I only know the difference between you two by personality and posture. Besides that your exactly the same." Evelyn admitted.

"Posture?" Fred and George questioned simultaneously.

"George slumps slightly when he stands and stays like that when speaking but you Fred stand up straight when someone comes over who isn't family."

"Oh." George then straightened his back like Fred was already doing but soon slumped again.

"Anyways, I have a test tomorrow morning. Only passing by to say hello." Evelyn smiled at the two. "See you both later." As she left she gave Fred a wink and a kiss on the cheek which pinked her cheeks.

"She likes you." George sung but Fred quickly slapped a hand over his mouth to shut him up.

The next Saturday morning Fred found Evelyn dressed rather pretty while sitting in the courtyard. It was warm that day and she seemed to just be studying a school book. Fred went to the Great Hall and took a few leftover apple strudels before going back to the courtyard to join her.

"Dressed up for me I see." Fred teased and as Evelyn looked up to him she smiled at the sight of the pastries. He sat down and gave her a napkin along with a strudel.

"I dress for myself, Weasley." Evelyn hummed before biting into the treat.

"Oh but I do enjoy your outfits." Fred said in a sweet chaste way. "They make my day."

"How exactly?"

"Your style is very unique. It's fun to see what you'll wear. It can be a skirt or a dress or a pantsuit or jeans or anything. Your very inclusive." Fred was now laying on his back in the grass as he ate. "Just seeing you makes my day."

Though Fred flirted allowed his eyes did so much. The glances to Evelyn's lips gave her every message on his feelings. He'd rarely glance to her breasts and only did so to look at her necklace then blush when he realized where he was looking. Fred would give a certain grin which simply showed his affection for any girl. Evelyn found that grin to be toward her many times. Fred picked a white dainty flower from the grass and sat up to place it behind Evelyn's ear. Her hair kept it in place and Evelyn blushed slightly as his hand brushed her cheekbone.

"George and I are leaving early." Fred told her. "We'll make some big grand exit and go off and buy a joke shop with Harry's winning money."

"I'll come." Evelyn replied quickly though he gave no invitation for her. "Please."

"Fine. You can live with us. We'll have a flat above the shop." Fred laid back onto the grass again, popping his knuckles in boredom. "Will you visit the Manor at all?"

"Narcissa has this summer gala planned which I looked forward to. Maybe I'll go as I gave her many ideas on decoration." Evelyn sighed and placed her head into her hands. "I just don't want to see her or Lucius."

"You can make up with your mother there perhaps." Fred suggested. "It was your dad who did everything awful really."

"She knew and did nothing to stop it." Evelyn argued back.

"Would you rather stay mad at her forever or make up and hold a reasonable grudge?" Fred raised an eyebrow as he sat back up.

"Fine. I'll go. But," Evelyn raised a finger in the air which had a ring Fred gave her on it. "You'll go as my date so I'm not alone. And to upset them."

"Oh they'll hate that." Fred broke into a laugh, running a hand through his red locks.

"Which is why I love you." Evelyn said back to him making Fred freeze and go absolutely red.

"Yo- you what?" Fred's voice cracked painfully making Evelyn want to giggle. "If it just slipped out accidently it's perfectly fine-"

"Shush." Evelyn giggled and moved onto her knees so they could kiss. It was bliss. Fred had his eyes open but closed them and leant in. Before he could do anything else she pulled away with a pretty smile. "I do love you, Fred. Might as well tell you now as war is inevitable and we'll probably die." She saw his eyes searching her own with such confusion and anxiety she could only smile at him. She sat back on her knees and held his face with one hand. "You don't have to say anything back. I see the anxiety in your eyes."

"No, no, no." Fred said quickly, shaking his head before cupping her jaw. "I do love you. I believe. I hope that's what this feeling is."

Evelyn leaned in quickly and kissed him again which Fred wasted no time to react to. He kissed her back and becoming dominant quickly. He heard small whimpers from Evelyn making him more confident. He easily slipped his tongue into her mouth and Evelyn allowed it as she felt over the moon. She felt sick to the stomach and like she'd puke as she was so nervous to say she liked him let alone loved him. Fred pulled away, pecking her lips before grinning.

"We'll leave Hogwarts in April. Fly off on brooms or something. George likes the idea of fireworks." He traced her cheek faintly as he spoke softly. "You'll come with us. We can stay in the same room and you can work at the shop for extra money."

"Sounds like a dream." Evelyn sighed dreamily making Fred kiss her again as he finally could. "Oh! Did you know Maria and Alexander are dating? I found out through a Hufflepuff."

"I suppose we are now as well."
