Evelyn sat in her charms class, boredom taking over her body. She was playing with her quill while everyone else finished their essays before Professor Flitwick came back from his bathroom break; (which always took forever, he was size of the toilets). She twirled her quill between her fingers as she chewed the inside of her cheek. Most of the class flinched as Flitwick came back with a booming tone.

"Essays everyone!" He said while clapping his tiny ass hands. "Essays!"

The class stood and lined up at his desk while their Professor struggled to get into his seat before finally doing making the jump and successfully sitting down. Everyone began to hand their essay to him before standing for an awkward moment as his charmed quill somehow looked the essay over and graded it, all while Flitwick sat with a smile. Evelyn reached the front and handed her parchment to the man as Fred Weasley watched curiously from behind her to see what grade she'd get. George smacked is shoulder but he kept watching, hissing at his brother to stop. The quill floated over the essay before marking a beautiful 'O' in the corner.

"Fabulous job." Flitwick complimented as Evelyn faked a smile nd moved out of the line and back to her seat.

She watched as Fred turned his essay in. Once handed it back he frowned before George shoved him out of line. George was handed his essay and have a smug smile to Fred who only shoved him before they walked back to their seats. George seemed to be comparing their grades with a smile, showing he did better.

The class was incredibly boring and Evelyn spent most of her time lost in thought. Finally she perked up from her half-asleep mood as they were dismissed. A chipper voice of course had to call herself and Weasley back into the room.

"I'll wait outside." George said to his brother as Fred nodded. He joined Evelyn at the professor's desk, both students wanting to leave immediately to get on with the day.

"Mr. Weasley." Flitwick began as he cleared the bubble in his throat. "Your grade have gone down significantly ever since the year has began." Fred frowned as Evelyn held in a chuckle. Fred noticed this and glared at her, while Evelyn looked away innocently. "I was hoping that, Miss Malfoy here," He turned to Evelyn as she looked up at him. "could tutor you tonight."

"Could what?" Fred laughed aloud as Evelyn gaped at the man. "Her? Malfoy? Really?"

"Me? You must be out of your mind." Evelyn choked out a laugh.

"Yes." Flitwick answered, unimpressed with their childish reactions. "She's top of my class for your year." Fred turned to Evelyn who he'd thought would have a braggy smile but she looked rather embarrassed. Her eyes were a bit wide as she looked away from the Professor while her cheeks flamed a bright red.

"What's in it for me exactly?" Evelyn asked her professor in a cracked voice, crossing her arms as she tapped her foot impatiently.

Flitwick sighed and seemed to be in though. He must have expected her to ask this but hoped she wouldn't. Evelyn didn't want to do this but if he had a good reward of a sort then maybe she'd consider it.

"On the upcoming test. which is tomorrow, Mr. Weasley will need to pass to continue to his next year," Fred went wide eyed on how serious the situation was. He must have thought it was just some silly review. "You may use one inch of parchment, hand written notes. I will overview it to make sure no cheating is going on."

"Fine." Evelyn groaned, tilting her head back before forward again. Fred admired her short blonde locks from the corner of his eye, so messy but so pretty.

"Wonderful!" Flitwick clapped his hands together and looked at Fred. "Now you?"

"I don't have much of a choice, do I?" Fred furrowed his eyebrows at his professor who was still smiling .

"Evelyn will set up when and where you will meet and such things." Flitwick finally said before waving them out of the room. "Hurry now! Get to studying!"

Evelyn left first with her steps quicker than ever. She opened the door but let it close as Fred tried to follow her. He pulled the door open and quickly chased after her, passing George who was listening in. George followed his brother so they were on ether side of her.

"So when-" Fred began but Evelyn turned toward him, her hand out to shut him up. Fred glanced at George whom only shrugged.

Evelyn motioned for them to follow her as they were on the corner of a corridor. She glanced around the corner, Fred and George doing the same to see what was going on. The boys cringed as they saw Pansy Parkinson swallowing the tongue of a Ravenclaw. Evelyn pushed the boys back, a smile still across her face. She took out her wand and peeked around the corner again before raising it at the girl and whispering a spell. Suddenly, a scream filled the hall.

"What did you-" George began, turning the corner fully with his brother before gaping as they saw Pansy covering her face as the Ravenclaw boy sprinted away. Pansy moved her hands away and a frog tongue flicked out at the boys. She covered her face again and turned around, sprinting away as sobs broke out but Evelyn was now smiling brightly.

"What was that for?" George asked her with a stern tone. She disliked how the tone came across as a Father scolding his child.

"Oh please Weasley." Evelyn mocked, slapping George's shoulder before she continued to walk as the boys followed her. "Have you seen how damned annoying she is? A quick little spell won't hurt her but will make my day so much better." Evelyn huffed, turning fully around to face them making the twins stop. "Meet me in the library at six and bring your things, Weasley." At that she turned around and walked out.

The whole time whilst they studied there was a lot of bickering. Mostly stupid topics. What Evelyn didn't notice about the boy is that he seemed to be staring at her a lot. While she wrote, looking away from him, he would glance up at her and just stare. Just stare at her. Time her breaths, admire her grey eyes, adore her short hair before looking away as she looked up at him.

During breakfast the next morning, Fred had large, tired eye bags from staying up so late studying. He had been warned before if his grades weren't kept up he'd be kicked off of the Quidditch team; which was a price he wouldn't be willing to pay. Fred had been glancing over at Evelyn more and more during the meal and quickly noticed how she was doing her best to ignore the kids she sat around, talking as little as possible.

After the Charms class ended later in the day, Fred learned he had gotten an 'A' on his test. He ran out to find Evelyn, who was the first person that crossed his mind. A grin was upon his face as he saw her walking through the halls, reading a book in her hands. He ran up to her side, putting his hands behind his back and waiting for her to notice him.

"What is it?" Evelyn asked, a small annoyed breath coming from her lips as she turned to look up at the redheaded boy.

"I wanted to tell you your methods of tutoring are fabulous as I passed the test with flying colors." Fred bragged, holding up the paper with a large 'A' in the top right corner.

"Flying colors my ass." Evelyn shut her book, putting it under her arm as she took the paper from Fred's hand. "I thought you'd get a 'Dreadful', not this." Fred chuckled a bit at her reaction, still walking with her.

Evelyn grew suddenly tense as she realized she was happy for Fred. Fred Weasley. That shouldn't be allowed. She was supposed to hate the boy, like her parents.

She said nothing and handed him the paper before speed walking away. Evelyn knew she never hated the Weasley's like her parents but she knew damned well she couldn't start liking them either. Was she supposed to tell her parents? No, she wouldn't. Lucius would freak out about them being at the same table, let alone tutoring. She'd keep it to herself and just not be too mean anymore, but not nice enough to where it was suspicious. A nice medium.

Evelyn sat on her bed, leaning back as she knew she was overthinking this small situation.
