buona notte, bambina

danielle pov:
It had been a long hard day at work and I was finally ready for some time with stefania. I had a very emotionally draining scene today and was ready to just go home and sleep.

While I was making my way to my trailer to grab a few things before I headed home, I ran into stef.

stefania pov:
"Hi bambina! How was your day?" I asked once I bumped into her.

I noticed the dark circles under her eyes and a dreary feeling coming from her. I decided to invite her back to my house for the night, so I can make sure she gets some rest.

We aren't technically together but most of our friends swear we are because of how comfortable we are with each other. And I'm definitely not opposed to being with the beautiful blonde officially but tonight is not the night to figure that out, I need to focus on her.

"Hey why don't you come to my place for the night so you can get some good sleep?" I ask while holding her close.

"Are you sure? Because I'm okay on my own and I don't want to be a bother to you, and you probably have other things to do-" she responded before I cut her off while holding her head in my hands and replying "Of course I'm sure danielle".

danielle pov:
I was so thankful that stef offered to let me sleep at hers tonight because I really didn't want to be alone tonight and I probably wouldn't be able to sleep much anyway.

She had her perfectly tanned hand around my waist while my head rested on her shoulder and we walked to her car.

It was a peaceful drive home, we didn't talk much but I was able to hear her italian music playing softly in the background. I smiled and rested my head on the door of the car. When we were almost home stef grabbed my hand to hold and butterflies erupted in my stomach and I let out in involuntary smile.

We aren't together but I wish we were, she makes me feel more loved than anyone else ever has.

stefania pov:
Once we arrived home I walked her upstairs and we set our stuff down in my room.

"Can I take a quick shower? I think I'll feel a bit better after" the blonde asked "Of course bella, I'll take one after you" I responded. She walked into the bathroom and started the water before stepping into the shower.

I grabbed her some sweats and her favorite t-shirt of mine for her to change into, along with a towel. I was setting it in the bathroom when I heard soft cries coming from the shower.

"Hey bambina, are you okay?" I asked softly while peaking my head through the door.

danielle pov:
I started crying and I don't really know why, I think I just had too many emotions going on in my head at once. I was trying to be quiet so I didn't burden stef, she was already inviting me over for the night, she didn't need to deal with me crying also.

"yea i'm okay" I responded. "Are you sure? can I come in?" the brunette replied, and as her question registered a ton of butterflies erupted in my stomach. "Well if you don't want me to it's totally okay I just wanted to make sure you were okay and I can just shower when your done-" stefania started rambling before I stopped her and said "Of course you can come, and I will be okay I just need a minute". I know how genuine she is and there was no ulterior motives in mind when she offered.

The little smile on her face meant everything to me and I'm so glad we are so comfortable around each other.

stefania pov:
I stripped my clothes off and left them on the floor before stepping into the shower and snaking my arms around dani's waist. I placed my chin on her shoulder and gave her light kisses along her neck.

I started to hear sniffles pick back up so I decided to push a bit harder to see what was up with danielle.

"Bambina I would love to help you but I can't know what's wrong unless you tell me." I whispered. "I guess I'm just really tired, but I had a hard scene to film today" she replied. "Is there anything I can do for you?" I ask while drawing circles along her pale torso with my fingers.

"Can you just hold me? if that's okay I mean, I don't want to over-" I cut her off "I would love to bella. But let's finish our shower first" I reply.

I grab the shampoo and start slowly washing her hair and I can feel her relaxing into my touch which is a good sign. Once her hair is washed she moves onto mine, and it feels so relaxing. I can't believe I got so lucky.

danielle pov:
The shower we had was so calming and I can't fathom it was with stefania, the love of my life.

We turned off the water and she wrapped the towel around me and then another around herself before stepping out and walking to her room to get clothes for herself. I smiled because she had already gotten clothes for me and the shirt smelled like her.

A few moments later we were both in her room ready for some sleep. "Can we just sleep in t-shirts if that's okay because I just want you to hold me and" I started before she stopped me and said "Of course toreso, come here".

She crawled under the covers and held her arms open for me to lay right next to her. I smiled and made my way over to her before getting comfortable and taking her hand in mine.

"I've got you bella. you can sleep now" she whispered before I started drifting off to sleep. "Thank you so much stef" I replied before hearing a faint "buonanotto, bambina".

a/n: This is my first fanfic and I hope you like it! I will probably write mostly fluff because smut scares me. But if you have any suggestions or requests let me know and I will try to write them. Also I don't know how often I will post but yeah.
