I walk into our room to see stefania laying in bed with a book. Our bedside lamp was the only one on, providing just enough of a warm gentle glow for her to see the pages. She looked so pretty sitting there in her black tank top and her gorgeous brown locks tied in a bun on top of her head. Her face was in a slight pout, she was clearly concentrated on what she was reading, I admired.

I walk over to her and place a kiss on her forehead before she finishes her sentence and looks up at me. Her gorgeous brown orbs looking into mine with love and adoration. She smiles, "Do you want to get in bed bambina?" she asks. "Yes, just let me get ready real quick" I say and place another kiss on her head before walking to the bathroom.

As I turn to walk into the bathroom she looks down and continues reading. I quickly get changed into pj shorts and a big t-shirt I had stolen from stef and brush my teeth. I also take off my makeup and wash my face before turning out the light and walking back into our room.

I walk around the bed and crawl under the covers. I move over to stef's side and lay my head on her chest. "Do you want me to read to you bella?" she asks. "Is it in italian?" I ask. "Yes amore" she laughs. "Then definitely" I reply as I close my eyes.

I love when she speaks in her native tongue, I don't understand 98% of it but she sounds so angelic I couldn't care less.

Stef begins to read as I listen. I'm laying on my stomach with my head on her chest and my arm draped over her stomach. She lifts up my shirt and starts to gently rub my back which causes butterflies to shoot through my body.

I just lay there and focus on everything about her. I focus on her words and how she enunciates every word perfectly, I focus on breathing her scent which always calms me, and I focus on how soft her skin is. I'm so grateful to be lying in her arms right now, and little me would never have believed it.

A few minutes later as I'm drifting to sleep I feel a kiss being placed on the top of my head as stefania shuffles under the covers and turns off the light. I tuck my head into her neck and she wraps her arms around my torso, pressing our bodies together. "Ti amo bambina. Dormi bene" she whispers. "I love you" I whisper.

a/n: I'm so so sorry it has been so long but I have been super busy with midterms and traveling for the holidays so here's a short one. I am planning another so I should have a longer chapter out soon-ish. But for now, happy holidays!!
