"im so proud of you"

We pull in the driveway, danielle's hand resting on my thigh. My short film got nominated for an award the other week and my team and I really thought I had a shot at winning tonight. It would also have allowed me to direct for greys this season instead of next.

Danielle puts the car in park before turning it off and getting out of the car. She walks around to my side and opens the door for me. I look up at her and we lock eyes before I look away and get out of the car.

We make it to the door in silence before Dani opens it and lets me in. "Baby you go upstairs and i'll lock up down here" she kisses my head and I walk away. Not being able to do anything else I make it upstairs and just sit on our bed.

After I told stefania to go upstairs I turned off the lights and locked the doors. Then I filled up two glasses of water and walked upstairs.

Once I made it up there I saw stefania sitting on the edge of the bed staring into space. I set the glasses down before walking over to her. "My love you don't have to do anything but just let me help you okay?" I ask before unzipping the back of her dress. "Stand up for me baby" I say before slipping the dress down her legs.

I sit her back down and walk to the bathroom to turn on the water for the shower. I walk back into our room and grab us both big t-shirts and towels.

"Let's just take a quick shower and then we can go to bed okay?" I say before helping her walk to the bathroom. Once we were there I undressed myself, taking off my suit jacket and then pants before setting them on the ground and getting in the shower.

I let stefania lean on me while I poured some shampoo on my hands and massage it into her hair. We continued our shower, me washing my own hair and then conditioning both of ours. I washed her body, being as gentle as possible and taking great care of her. I let her rest her body on mine while I washed my own.

Once I finished, I helped us out of the shower encasing both of our bodies in towels. I brushed her hair and then mine before placing a few gentle kisses on her exposed shoulder and pulling a tshirt over her head and then mine. I led her into our bedroom before sitting her on the bed and getting in on my side.

"Thank you so much bambina" she said, looking at me. "Of course baby, that's what i'm here for. And I want you to know I'm so so proud of you stefania, no matter what" I reply. "Thank you bambina I just really thought I would win tonight and I just-" she begins. I intertwine her hand in mine and continue "My love you have accomplished so much, you wrote and directed your very own short film and got it premiered in Sicily not to mention all while filming for greys and being an amazing girlfriend to me" I continue.

Tears start to form in her eyes as I continue "You are the most inspiring person I have ever met and I can't even begin to express how unbelievably proud of you I am, so please baby don't ever doubt that okay?" I ask while I bring her hand up to my mouth to kiss it.

"Thank you bambina" I say, her words are so meaningful to me and I value them more than anything in my life. "Let's go to sleep for now love" dani whispers.

She pulls me into her chest letting me rest my head in the crook of her neck. "Ti amo bambina" I whisper. "I love you too baby" she whispers back.
