warnings: panic attack, nightmare.

one month later.

"let's go, kacchan!"

loud giggles spill from izuku as he tugs both of katsuki's wrists, trying to pull him up from the floor. katsuki glares at izuku from his spot on the ground, eyebrows furrowed in annoyance. "no."

"kacchan, don't be like that!" izuku pouts before tugging harder on his best friend's wrists. he quickly gives up, knowing that a stubborn katsuki is an unmovable katsuki. he lets go of katsuki, who immediately crosses his arms in protest. knowing that he can't move katsuki, izuku gives him his best puppy eyes, hoping that it will convince the elder. "c'mon, kacchan! can we go? please, please, please?"

"i'm not going anywhere until you take these stupid stickers off me!" katsuki huffs, shifting his gaze to the couch behind izuku. i'm not falling for those damned eyes!

"but they look pretty, kacchan!" izuku holds back a laugh as he takes in katsuki's state. various small cartoon bear stickers are scattered all over katsuki's face and arms, making the blonde look quite cute and harmless.

"you're the one who put them on me!" katsuki sits up, scrunching up his nose as he starts taking the stickers off his arms. he puts the stickers back on the sticker sheets that izuku had thrown on the ground carelessly. these bears are cute, i guess.

"you're no fun, kacchan." izuku giggles as he moves to sit on his knees in front of katsuki. he starts helping take stickers off katsuki's face, apologizing whenever katsuki hisses because of a sticker that sticks a bit too well to his skin.

several minutes and giggles later, katsuki's face and arms are sticker free. izuku is the first to get up, holding out a hand for katsuki to grab. katsuki immediately grabs his hand, allowing izuku to help him up. he doesn't let go of his hand as they walk to the kitchen together, hearing their mothers' laughs as they approach the two.

"so i told him that he should just go fuck himself! i couldn't believe the damn audacity of that man! i swear if masaru hadn't been there, i would've rocked that bastard's shit!" mitsuki slams her cup of tea down on the dining table, making some of it spill.

izuku's eyes go wide as he hears the curses fall from his aunt's lips, shock evident on his face. katsuki's eyebrows shoot up in alarm as he hears his mother's foul words, immediately letting go of izuku's hand. he quickly moves his hands up to izuku's ears, covering them to prevent izuku from hearing more profanities.

"can 'zu and i go outside and play?" katsuki interrupts their conversation, shooting a glare at his mom as he continues to cover izuku's ears.

"aren't the two of you tired from school?" mitsuki raises an eyebrow, ignoring her son's glare. she picks up her cup of tea, taking a sip before shrugging once she notices the determined look on katsuki's face. "i'm okay with it. but you aren't sleeping over tonight, katsuki, so don't get any ideas. tomorrow's a school night."

"i know that." he rolls his eyes, before dropping his hands from izuku's ears. he shifts his attention to his aunt, who is giving him a weird look. why is she looking at me like that? "besides, you and auntie have been talking for like, three hours now! we were only supposed to stop by for lunch!"

mitsuki throws her napkin at katsuki, who immediately dodges it and pulls down the skin under his eye and sticks out his tongue, sassing her.

"sure!" inko gives her boys a smile, deciding to ignore the mitsuki and katsuki's pettiness. "just don't go too far! and come back for dinner," she turns her gaze to izuku who is already fidgeting in his spot, ready to go outside. "we're all going to have dinner together tonight. hopefully, your dad will be home by then, izuku."
