2:32 a.m.

all izuku can hear is the noise of the generator as he wakes up. other than that, the room is completely silent. he's in a sitting position, with his back pressed against a cold, concrete wall. he cranes his neck to check his surroundings and feels his heart beat speed up when he realizes there aren't any windows. his closest exit is the door, but he knows it's a futile attempt to get to the door once he tries moving his hands. a clinking noise resounds throughout the solitary room, the cold feel of the metal chains tugging at his wrists as he tries to move.

the dim light of the dangly lights on the ceiling make izuku's skin sparkle and glow, but it also highlights the slightly panicked expression on his face, his emerald eyes wide with slight fear but mostly confusion.

he almost gives himself whiplash when he turns his head towards the door, hearing it swing open. a man in a black suit walks into the room and izuku is more confused when he can't make out the man's facial features. the back of izuku's mind tells him that this is only a dream, but the voice is too faint for izuku to listen.

the door creaks as another man in a hoodie walks behind the faceless man. the shadow of the hoodie hides the other man's face, an unsettling feeling forming in the pit of izuku's stomach. the two men stop in front of izuku, the one in the suit wearing a smirk on his face.

"oh izuku-kun, you're so gullible," the man sings as izuku stares silently, glaring at him in his post at his feet. the man's voice seems a bit familiar but izuku doesn't give it much thought as the man leans down, giving him a knowing look. "i can't let you out until you hand over revival," he pauses, raising an eyebrow at izuku's scoff.

izuku exhales through his nose in frustration, giving the man a challenging look. "i'm not giving you shit," his voice comes out scratchy and hoarse, a clear indication of his sore throat. it feels like i've been screaming for hours.

the man stares at izuku silently, as if debating something in his mind. izuku shifts his gaze to the younger man behind him, gasping quietly when he sees his bright, indigo eyes. i've seen those eyes before, where have i seen them?

the two men step away from izuku, giving each other silent looks. izuku uses this opportunity to check if he can spot anything that will hint where he is. but there's nothing. he could be anywhere. all he knows is that he could be deep underground, in a random room, or in some warehouse. the only source of light are the lights dangling from the ceiling, the switch nowhere to be seen. that, and the light coming from the still opened door. from his awkward angle, he can see that there's a dark hall outside of the door, but besides that there aren't any clues. the concrete walls don't seem to have any wear to them, but there's some roughness to the texture. that in itself is enough for izuku to rule out several places and abductors. this is probably recently made - meaning they probably made it for me. i'm...not sure if that's good.

"c'mon, izuku-kun. i like you, honestly. just hand over revival and we'll let you be on your way," the man speaks up once again, this time his voice having an undertone of tightness in it. it almost makes izuku want to smirk at the man's growing irritation.
