The rest of the week flies by fast. It's Friday now, I've been dreading for this day, my date with Luke. The only reason I agreed to go on a date with Luke, is to annoy Tomas.

Luke shows up at my door at exactly eight o'clock. My parents come to meet him, and approves of him. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Thompson. How are you all? I am Luke Davenport, I have biology with Mia." He replies politely. My parents smile and gush at him.

My parents approve of anyone who is polite to them. "Well I don't want to keep you guys waiting, go on have fun sweetie." My mom says. How embarrassing. My cheeks flush with color, and I quickly say good bye to my parents.

"So Mia, how about you and I go to the movies, and watch a horror movie?" He grins wickedly. "I'll let you cuddle with me when it gets scary." He raises his eyebrows. Oh god he did not just say that. This date is already boring, Luke is so immature.

"Are you google?" He asks. "Excuse me?" I say looking confused as ever. "Because you have everything I need." He winks at me. Wow he likes pick up lines. Idiot.

"I'm trying to rearrange the letters so that U and I are together." He says proudly. "Well I'm sorry but N and O are already together in the alphabet." I say smugly. He frowns, I got him there.

He finds another one in his head. "I'm not a photographer, but I can picture you and I together." He says while looking at me. He try's another. Ugh.

"Are you a magician? Because abracadayum, girl." He says like it was funny. "Yeah. Now watch me disappear." I say easily.

"Is it hot in here, or is it just you?" He grins. I roll my eyes and say, "Actually, it's you. Because you just crashed and burned." I see him frown at all my comebacks.

"Wow, never knew a girl had so many comebacks." He says laughing. Jerk. I never knew a boy thought pick up lines are funny.

We reach the movie theaters, on his sleek motorcycle. He helps me off the bike, and leads me to the ticket booth. "Two tickets to the "Paranormal Experience 2." he says. Doesn't sound scary at all, in fact it sucks for him, I love horror movies.

"So Mia have you heard of this movie?" Luke questions. I scoff. I've seen this movie over 50 times. But I don't actually mention it to him. "Actually I've seen this movie before." I smile evilly at him."Wait you've seen this before?" He looks surprised. "Um yeah, it's one of my favorites." I say. "I would of never pegged you as a horror loving movie person." He says actually impressed. I give him a annoyed glance, but he doesn't see it.

I see him checking out the girl who is selling popcorn. Wow, what a waste of time. I could've of finished some seasons of White Collar. I think. Luke makes his way to the popcorn stand, and starts to flirt with the girl. So I'm his date, but he goes to flirt with another girl? I frown.

I walk out of the bathroom lookih for like. The movie starts in five minutes, so I head to the theater, considering I have my ticket. But before I move I see Luke making out with the popcorn girl. He's pushing her up a wall and kissing her passionately. I look away with a disgusted look on my face.

I receive a text from Tomas. My heart stops. He actually texted me.

Hey are u ok? I'm really sorry bout this morning. Wanna hang out today? -Tomas
P.S. Please forgive me. :(

Yeah that would be nice. I'm stuck in the theaters. Luke is making out with some random chick. Ugh. Please help me.
-Mia
P.S. I forgive you. :)

Coming right over. -Tomas :)

Wait, u have a car? -Mia :P

Nope. I have motorcycle.
-Tomas ;)

What? U never told me!
-Mia

Shush. I'm going to pick u up. Bye. -Tomas.

That's all I receive from him. I quickly leave the theater and enter the the parking lot. I knew this was a big mistake to go on a date with Luke. Ugh, he's an idiot. A big immature one too.

I see Tomas riding his black motorcycle towards me. I run to him, giving him a big hug, for saving me.

"Thank you so much for coming to pick me up. Luke is a total jerk face." I say to Tomas. He laughs at me, and he starts to smile, "I've been trying to tell you that Mia, but you never give me a chance to explain it to you." He says. "I'm sorry Tomas." I murmur. "I'm sorry too." He says while pulling me into a hug. I release him, and I start to smile.

"So Tomas can I ask you a question?" I say quietly.

"Yeah anything."

"What were you saying that night when you saw my journal?" I look at the ground.

"Uh. Uh. Um. I was going to ask you, if you want to-" he was cut off.

"Yo Mia, where are you going?" I whip around to see Luke.

Oh crap. He's coming over here. "Why is this idiot here!" Luke points to Tomas.

"Uh I was going to-" I was cut off.

"Shut the hell up Luke!" Tomas yells at Luke. I'm surprised at Tomas's outburst.

"What are you doing here anyways?!" He yells at Tomas.

"She asked me to pick her up, from this boring date!" He says furiously.

Luke gasps. This will not end very well. I look at the two boys, both snarling at each other.

"You have no right to be here Bane!" Luke shoves Tomas.

Oh boy. This is bad. Very bad.

Tomas looks surprised at Luke, but his anger takes over him. Tomas punches perfectly at Luke's jaw. I throw my hands up to my mouth. Uh oh.

Luke falls to the ground, bleeding slightly. He gets up, but he's wary now. Tomas punches him again, but this time in the ribs. I see people crowding around us.

"GET OUT OF HERE DAVENPORT AND LEAVE MIA ALONE!" Tomas screams so loudly it hurts my ears.

Tomas grabs my hand and pulls me to his motorcycle, and hands me a helmet. He speeds off, leaving Luke Davenport on the ground of the movie theaters parking lot. I see the anger leaving Tomas's grayish eyes, replacing with worry.

We reach my house, and Tomas helps me off his bike. We stand there for a while, not talking at all.

"Are you okay Mia?" He says looking me into the eyes.

"Yeah I'm okay, just surprised me a bit." I reply shyly.

"Yeah, I don't think Luke is to happy about that." He chuckles.

Tomas walks me to my door, and I ask if he wants to come in. He doesn't decline my offer.

I grab two water bottles and we jump on to the couch. Tomas lets me lean my head on his chest, and we continue to watch a movie.

I eventually doze off, but soon I can see my mom shaking me, telling me to go to my room.

But only thing I have on my mind is Tomas.
