Homecoming is one week away and Tomas hasn't asked me yet. I haven't bought a dress yet either. I'm not going to miss my first homecoming in my new school. The theme is: Original Fairy Tales, like Cinderella, Snow White, and many more.

I think I'll just go as a princess and Tomas will be my knight in shining armor. Well if only he would ask me. I'm becoming more and more anxious, he still hasn't asked me!

Why won't he get it over with? Does he want to break up with me?!? We just got together.

This is starting to make me nervous, is he scared of asking me? What is his problem, he definitely does not know how to deal with girls' emotions. He needs to ask me, and soon. People know that I'm dating him, so they're expecting us to go to homecoming together. He needs to hurry up now!

But I got my answer today after school.

Tomas and I are walking out of the school together. We're chatting, but I'm stressing over homecoming, when it looks like he doesn't even know it's one week away! I feel like my brain is talking to itself, stressing way too much, while my mouth is just randomly talking to him.

We finally reach Shadow Creek Drive, that's when Tomas blind folds me.

"HEY HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!?" I scream, but a hand comes over my mouth. My hands are flailing around, trying to smack someone.

"Shut up Mia. It's still me, Tomas. I have something to show you." He sounds excited. I imagine what his face looks like right now. I imagine his face completely red and a little sweaty. Maybe that's why he has to blind fold me.

Walking down the street is very painful. I can't see anything, while Tomas is holding me by the arm, tugging me sideways and forward. I nearly trip over a dog. I hear Tomas yell an apology. I try to stifle my laugh, but it comes out.

"What are you laughing about now?" He sounds irritated.

"Well considering I just tripped over dog, I'm laughing at you." I continue to laugh.

He sighs, and keeps pushing me forward.

"Take off your blindfold, but keep your eyes closed completely. No peeking whatsoever. Okay?" His voice sounds distant.

"Yeah yeah. Okay." I pull off my blindfold and keeps my eyes shut, like Tomas told me to.

I feel him entwine my fingers with his and I can feel the driveway under my feet.

"You can open your eyes now." He says softly.

I immediately open my eyes and my mouth drops.

In front of me is my house. Well not really my house, this is the more decorated version. There are lights everywhere including on the garden, they are rose petals everywhere, and I can hear soft music playing.

I read the words on the garage:

"I can't picture myself going to homecoming alone or with anyone else but you. Will you please go to homecoming with me?"

I see Tomas looking at me, through the corner of my eye, wondering what my answer will be.

I look to the ground and I see a Nikon camera in a box. It has a little note on it:

"I can picture you and I together going to homecoming."

My hand go to my mouth and I can feel tears start to roll down my cheek. I bet my make up is running but I don't care. This is way more important than make up right now.

"Soooo Mia is that a yes or no? Please tell me it's a yes." He says while pulling me into a big hug.

"That is a complete yes." I says giving him a peck on the cheek.

"Good, because I worked really hard on this asking." He laughs, while pointing at the house.

I half cry half laugh. This is way too sentimental. I love it so much.

"Mia, your my princess forever and I'm your knight in shinning armor, that has to come save you from the evil villain?" He smiles at me.

"Oh yes, your my knight in shinning armor. Oh and please come save me from the villain. I'm begging you." I say laughing, enjoying every moment of this.

"My pleasure." He leans forward and his lips touch mine, making me want more and more.
