"Tomas?" I manage to whisper. I'm staring at him. He looks angry, actually he looks pissed.
He faces towards Luke and stares him down, and his mouth is puckered up. I see kids form a circle around us and are chanting fight, fight, fight, fight.
I look at Tomas then look back at Luke. Then I turn back and quickly run out of the gym.
Tears start to flow down my cheeks and my nose begins to run.
I quickly find the girls' bathroom and lean against the wall. Luckily no one is using the bathroom at this time.
Five minutes pass and all I think about is Tomas. The memories we had are coming back to haunt me.
It pains me to think of, but I allow it. I eventually after get over him, why not start now?
But when a certain memory comes back tears start to fall faster.
It was when he said he loved me.
The flashback comes back and I slowly close my eyes and start to remember the special moment.
I opened my eyes to see Tomas, his beautiful gray and blue eyes looking at me.
"What happened?" I ask.
"Um.. Well, Jennifer punched you and you've been out for three hours." He says while looking at the wall.
He's blushing, and it looks adorable.
"Oh, why did she punch me?" I ask because curiosity gets the better of me.
He gulps and his Adam apple moves up and down.
"Because I love you."
My eyes pop open and my mouth drops.
"Y-you w-what-t?" I stammer.
He let out a long sigh. He sounds exasperated. "I'm saying I've been in love with you since you came here!"
I my face turns completely red and I look at him. "You w-what?.." I stutter.
"I'm saying that I didn't think of Jennifer for a single second ever since you moved here. I didn't see any other girl like I see you."
He looks at me right into the eyes.
I blush madly and look at my lap.
Tomas lifts my chin with his finger, and looks me directly into my eyes.
"I know I've hurt you, and most likely I don't deserve you. But I just want to let you know how much I truly love you. You make me laugh when I'm sad, you're gorgeous and funny all the time. I know, I maybe pouring my heart out on to, and scaring you, but I just wanted you to know. You make everyone so happy and your the most perfect girl, but maybe you don't think so, but I do. I haven't felt like this ever, about anyone else. Even though I'm shoving this on you, and I know you you might not process what I'm telling you, but I love you to the moon and back. I truly do with all my heart."
I start to tear up on Tomas's beautiful speech. I can feel tears start to make their way down my cheek. He takes it the wrong way.
"Oh crap, I'm sorry Mia. I didn't want to attack you like this. I was just going ask you on a date this weekend, but I see that I have completely messed this up. I'm really sorry Mia. I was going to tell you this when I was in your room that day. I've been meaning to tell you this before, but I was to scared to. I rehearsed and rehearsed this little speech, but I somehow always end up in the most awkwardest times, so I never really had the chance to tell you." He blushes.
