It's the end of the day, and I haven't talked to Tomas much. We have had a few "hellos" but nothing else. He's acting pretty weird, but I think it's because of his break up. I have to talk to him, immediately.

School has finished, and I'm heading home. I suddenly see Tomas pacing back and forth in front of his house. "What is he doing now?" I mutter under my breath. He doesn't see me sit on his porch and just watch him.

"Ahem. Cough cough." I look at him. He doesn't turn my way, but I know he saw me. He stops pacing and just stands there, looking at the sun. I go and stand next to him, looking at whatever I think he is looking at.

"So Tomas..." I linger. "Are you okay? I didn't see you at lunch today." I look over at him. He keeps looking forward. He doesn't say anything at all. "Tomas, hello, hello." I step right in front of him. He looks me right in to the eye.

"I have to tell you something now." He suddenly starts to burst with conversation. He takes my hand and we walk into his house.

We sit on his bed, and I look around at his room. His room isn't messy like I thought it would be, it's clean with clothes folded neatly, there are posters of astronomy and Ancient Greek. He has a book shelf, that is filled with many fragile rocks and mini statues.

There's one stuffed animal on his bed.
Its a gray bear, with a little black tie, it is the cutest little bear I have ever seen.

"So Tomas what did you want to tell me." I say, still admiring his room.

"Yeah, um why did you listen to my conversation with Jennifer?" He looks me straight in to my eyes.

I stutter. "Uh well." I gulp. " I was, um looking for you... and I heard you talking to Jennifer, so I decided to listen to you..." I look away. "Sorry Tomas." My cheeks turn a shade of dark red.

"Oh."

There was a long silence.

We don't do anything. Until Tomas breaks the silence.

"You know I would of told you right?" He looks at me.

"Yeah I should've known. I'm sorry." I looked down at my lap.

"But I broke up with her because of you." He nudges me and blushes.

My mouth drops and my eyes look up.
