Chanyeol ran with an anxious face. He had gone to the Kai’s grave, but you were not there. He could not contact you because you were not carrying your cell phone. He does look like a guy who was jogging in the morning, but with anxiety on his face.
He stopped running, holding his hands on his knees and panting. He was puzzled to find you where else. *Jiwoo, where are you? Don’t make me worry like this.* He wiped away the sweat on his forehead and there goes back to find you.
He passed the Hankang river, he went to the place and found you. You were sitting on the grass while submerged your head in between your knees. He immediately ran over to you and patted your shoulder from behind.
“Jiwoo…” He called. You lifted your head up and turned to him blankly. He was hurt to see you like this, he pulled you into his arms. “Thank god, you made everyone worry. You okay right?” Chanyeol asked as he pulled back and searched your eyes.
You slowly shook your head, “I’m not okay…” You whispered and looked at Chanyeol as you cried, “I’ll be okay if Kai is here, now, on my side!”
“Shhh, He’s always here, in your heart. He always cares for you,” Chanyeol wiped your tears. You sobbed, “If he cared about me, why did he break the promise of us? Why he left me?”
“It was an accident, Jiwoo. He didn’t want that to happen, but he did it for you. He protects you and he wants you safe.” Chanyeol hugged you again as he rubbed your head. “I’ll always be beside you and I will replace him, to keep you.” He softly smiled to you.
“You will not leave me like him?” You uncertainly asked. He shook his head, “Never.”
You softly smiled and rested your head on his chest. *Chanyeol… his arms always make me comfortable being around him… make me feel comfortable.*
You weren’t home. You still didn’t want to go home and prefer to sit there. Chanyeol have told your family that you are fine and you were with him now. “Why are you here?” Chanyeol suddenly asked.
“This is the last place I went with Kai, that night… we sat together here.” You said with a small smile on your face. “Kai said that he wanted to be alone with me on my birthday, and after from here, he was the first to say happy birthday to me.” You added.
You sighed and stood up as you hugged yourself, “Kai… Even though he was like that, there are things that make you dislike him, he is the best for me. He always makes me want to always be around him. His attention to me and his family… He—“ Tears came out from your eyes. You forced a smile, “I love him…”
Chanyeol was silent. He stood up and took your hand. You looked at him with puzzled look, “I understand. You can continue think about him, and don’t forget him. He was your first boyfriend, right?” You nodded with a small smile. He softened, “Now let’s go home.”
He walked first while you just stood behind him. He confused and spun around. “What’s wrong? Come on.” “I’m tired. I went from 5 am, and I’m very tired.” He chuckled and walked over to you. He crouched in front of you, “Get on.” You smiled and get on his back. You wrapped your arms around his neck and rested your head on his shoulder. He began to walk.
“Chanyeol...?” You whispered. “Hmm?” He responded. “Thank you…” Slowly, you fall asleep on his shoulder. He just smiled and strengthen his grip on you.

After arrived at your house, your family sighed in relief. They were too worried. Chanyeol put you in your room and returned to his home. Outside your house, Baekhyun was waiting for Chanyeol as he leaned against the wall. When he saw Chanyeol came out of your house with a happy face, he looked flat to Chanyeol.
