Y/n's pov
We were about to go home but suddenly someone started yelling

"THIS IS FOR MY SON YOU BITCH!"Cusack yelled throwing a sword at me

Great day
Oh and I can barely walk too?fun!
I closed my eyes and hoped for the best
But I didn't get hit
I opened my eyes and saw someone shielding me from the sword which went right through their chest

I looked up and saw Ban blood then came out of his mouth
He stumbled and I caught him and laid on the ground with him in my arms
"ARE YOU DUMB HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!"I shouted
"BAN!"King yelled and they all came running over
"I had to protect you..It's just a little cut I'll be okay."he coughed again up blood again
"Ban you're so dumb!"I sobbed
"Your eyes too...they looked so sad after you came back.."Ban said stroking my cheek
"Why does that matter?!you're dying!"I said
"Listen..I made a promise to you..but..after I get better..please tell me what happened okay?"he said slowly closing his eyes
I shook his body trying to wake him up and keep him conscious
"BAN!BAN!please wake up!"I cried and he didn't even budge

1 month later
After Ban's wound was healed he didn't wake up it was now Christmas and there were no signs of him waking up at all.He was surviving on life support.
I walked to his hospital room to see him  when I got there I saw Meliodas by his side

"Still no progress?"I ask Meliodas
He shook his head sideways he looked like he had something more to say
"Spit it out."I say to him

"Y/n the doctors say that there's no sign of Ban waking up..It's been a month now.They need someone close to him to take him off of life support."He said
"Meliodas just a little more ti-"
"Y/n you need to let him go now..tomorrow."He says

I run out the room crying
Let ban go how could I do that?

How could I even do such a thing

I dropped and buried my face in my hands

Bans pov

"Let ban go."I hear the captain say from my coma

Man how can the captain even say such a thing

I've been trying to get out of here forever I've been stuck in complete darkness.

I hear footsteps this time it was coming from behind me which was odd because this is inside my head.
I looked around and see and old man with fire for hair walking towards me

"Huh who the hell are you?"I ask him looking him up and down

He sighs
"I don't see what's so special about you and why my daughter likes you so much.."he says
"Daughter?you're y/n's bastard old man!what're you doing in my mind?wait don't tell me you kicked the bucket.."I say
He let out a deep sigh
"I'm afraid so..but before I go I'm going to get you to wake up..it's the least I can do for my one and only child."he says

He chanted some words and my body slowly started to disintegrate

"You're gonna wake up now in a few seconds..Please take care of her.Make her happy,love her and protect her no matter what..do what I couldn't."he said

I look at my fingers which were disintegrating too

"Of course I will..you ain't that bad geezer.."I say to him
"I think it will be better if you don't tell her about me helping you."he says
"Sure thing,by the way.Rest in peace old man."I say to him
He gives a small smile and nod

Then all of a sudden my eyes open and I see the captain sitting beside me
"BAN YOU'RE ALIVE?"he shouts
"Long story!captain where's Y/n?!"I ask him
"She ran out my best guess is that spot next to the lake..she left her coat too and it's snowi-"
"Wait Ba-"

I quickly grab Y/n's coat and run out of the room and start running to the lake where she would be.I was barefoot but I didn't care

*START SONG*
I see her sobbing whilst getting snowed on and I run over to her and wipe the snow off her back and wrap her coat around her
"Y/n you know how sick you get when the weather is like this!"I scold
"What do you know,you don't-Ban?!"She immediately stands up and hugs me crying into my chest
"See what did I tell you..I said I'd be back didn't I?"I hug her back

She sniffed
"I thought I was gonna be all alone again.I was so scared Ban."She cries her face was all gross and snotty like a little kid
"I'm never leaving.I promised you that besides there's still one thing I haven't done on my bucket list."I say to her
"Huh?"she looks at me
"I stole your heart and the next thing I need to do is marry you remember?there's no way I was gonna die before doing that."I say to her
She starts crying again and hugs me tighter
I rub her head and chuckle
"When did you become such a big baby?"

"I love you."she says
"I love you more."I reply
For a few more seconds we hold eachother
Then I thought of something
"Hey Y/n.."I say
"Yeah?" she looks up at me
"In our next lives.Let meet again.."I say
She stays quiet for a few seconds
"Yeah..in our next lives let's definitely meet and get together again."she says
"Always and forever?"I say
"Always and forever." she replies

So we just stood there embracing eachother as it snowed around us
It's been a long and crazy ride but I'm glad I got to end it with
