Y/n's Pov

We left Vaizel and rested near a town filled with affluent people.

Being still disappointed by the previous battle I decided to blow off someone steam by taking a bath in a nearby.Upon reaching the stream I used my powers to heat it up
"That should be about right.."I say slowly getting into the warm water letting out a deep sigh
"I'm so disappointed in myself..but at least this water is good.."I say closing my eyes resting on my arms
"Don't be disappointed in yourself Y/n."I hear someone next to me say
I open my eyes and see Ban relaxing with his hands behind his neck.
"You asshole!who invited you here!"I yell
"I kinda just invited myself when I saw you getting undressed."He says
I didn't even bother fighting with him to get out but instead I just laid next to him relaxing because I didn't have have the energy to fight with him.
We sat in silence not speaking but surprisingly enjoying each others

"Besides consider this as finally fulfilling your promise."He says turning to look at me with his crimson eyes piercing my soul
"Whatever."I mumble

He places his hand on my chin and leans in and I turn away just in time
"Nope!still haven't forgotten what you did."
"But I apologized,it was a misunderstanding."Ban pouts
I ignore him with a grin plastered onto my face
He rolls his eyes and gets out the water redressing
"What?!Why aren't you begging and crying for my forgiveness."

"Get out,we're going into the town tavern."He says
"What no way,the towns just full of rich jerks who think their better than everyone..plus I'm not allowed in.."I mumble the last part
"Did you break something important to someone important."Ban asks
He stared at me waiting for an answer and took my silence as a yes
"He made me mad."
"What'd you do?"
"Well 5 years ago I just happened to be passing by town and I stopped by the tavern."I say

*flashback*
I sat by the counter with a hood covering my head a waitress comes by.
"Hello!what would you like?"The young waitress with piercing blue eyes asks me
"The best Ale you've got."I smile
She nods and walks away.

I hear obnoxiously loud laughing coming from a table and there sat the mayor.It was obvious because of all the expensive jewelry he wore and the badge he had on.Around him say around other men just as obnoxious.

"You know I don't know why poor people even try live in this town!Some of them can barely afford to pay tax those filthy villagers!"the mayor laughs

The waitress that helped me earlier then walks past the table and the mayor grabs her butt.
"Wouldn't you agree little lady?"He pulls her in and she nods shaking slightly before he let her go

"Most of them are even scared to go up against me because they know how powerful I am and I can end their whole careers with just my money."He laughs
The girl from earlier hands me my drink.
"Enjoy."She forces a smile
"Thanks.."I reply
She then walks towards the mayors table with another drink and as he approaches he grips tightly onto her wrist
"Take this pretty brat she works in a tavern for her poor little family she should just get married to a rich man like one of us and be a housewife instead of working in a tavern!"He says
The girl stayed silent trying her best to fight tears
"Like me, baby I'll take care of you,"One of the mayors friends said caressing her cheek causing her to flinch
They all just laughed

Finally I couldn't take it anymore standing by and watching all this.I slammed my glass on the table getting up walking to the table.
