~Charli's Pov~
On the drive back home, no one really talked much. I think there will be a lot of that when we get back though. Y/n sat by me, and we were both on our phones pretty much the whole time. But there was those rare moments when she looked at me, and just smiled without saying a word. She had those beautiful blue eyes that I could stare into for hours, I could just dive in and take a swim in those eyes. I had a good feeling we were going to get pretty close.. as friends of course.

I wanted to start a conversation in the car, but I was just too nervous. Plus, this whole...experience is still settling in.
When we pulled up outside of the house, I realized that the Hype House is even bigger in person. I'm going to be living here for the next three months. That's just crazy to me.
"You ready?" Charli asked, smirking at me.
"You bet." I responded, smirking right back at her. We exchanged smiles and rushed to the door. I completely forgot about my luggage, but when I turned around to grab it, Chase and Addison had already taken care of it.
When we walked inside, it was silent. Dead silent. I was so confused. Twenty something people living in this house and not one noise? We walked into the kitchen, and I looked at the three of them, really confused.
"Welcome to the Hype House!!!" People were coming up from behind counters, cabinets, furniture, you name it. I looked around and everyone was clapping and smiling at me. I felt very welcome, but also kind of confused. It's not like I had to do anything special to get in here. They literally just had to choose a random person, but I'm not complaining.
"We're glad to have you here, y/n" Addison said from behind me. Next thing you know, people were coming up to me one by one, hugging me and welcoming me. It was very nerve-racking meeting all these people in real life, but it was epic at the same time.
"Let's show you your room!" Charli exclaimed.
"Okay!" I excitedly replied. I was getting my own room in the Hype House! This is so crazy to me.
I grabbed my bags from Chase and Addison, and Charli grabbed one of them from me to help out. She led me up the stairs to the second floor. This place was literally a mansion, so two of the three months I was going to be here, was going to be remembering where everything is. I was going to get lost a lot this summer. Charli gave me a quick tour of the second floor.
"This is my room right here," pointing to her room, which I have seen in the background of her tiktoks of course. "and this is your room right here!" she pointed to the room right next to hers. I was Charli's neighbor.
"It was just a spare room, but now it has a purpose! We decorated it a bit for you." She led me into the room and was speechless. I've never lived in a room as awesome as this one. There was LED lights, a huge bed, a nice dresser, a Sky Light, a literal couch, and a massive tv.
"A bit?" I asked, laughing. This room was awesome. I wish I could live here forever. Now i feel more than welcome. They didn't have to do any of this. They could of made me sleep in the basement for all I care, and I still would of been grateful.
"Thank you so much, all of you. You guys are so sweet."
"No problem, y/n. Anything you need, I'll be right next door. Imma let you unpack now." She put my suitcase on the ground, gave me a smile, then walked out. I got butterflies.
