~Charli's Pov~

We made it to the airport on time, thankfully. I am really happy for y/n and Lucas, they need to be together, and it makes y/n really happy.  I just hope me and her can still get some alone time, without interruption unlike last night. She is my girlfriend and I love her, but I don't want Lucas to ruin that. I am not trying to sound rude but he is thirteen years old, he won't be as needy as a toddler. So there is no reason anything has to change.

We boarded the plane and sat at a three-chair section. Y/n was closest to the window, I was right next to her, and Lucas was right next to me. Am I the only one is baffled by the fact that her son is only three years younger than me? I find it crazy but I am not going to let all of this Lucas stuff cluster my mind. I felt y/n hold my hand and squeeze it. Sometimes I am convinced she can read my mind and know exactly what I am thinking.

She gives me a small smile and looks over at Lucas. "How come those weirdos didn't give you a phone?" she asked him.

Lucas let out a small laugh. "They said that it is a toxic place but they gave the other kids a phone. I didn't really let them get to me though. They never liked me and treated me unfairly, I got used to it."

Y/n gave him a sympathetic look. "Well after you get settled in, we will get you one. And a new wardrobe of course. Just whatever you need." She smiled at him and he smiled back. I know that y/n will be a great parent because she is a great person. She is caring, she is loving, and she's just amazing.

We landed in LA finally, and ordered an uber to take us to the Hype House.  The drive from the LA airport was not that far from the house so we got there in no time.

As we pulled into the house, Lucas stepped out of the car with wide eyes. "Dang, it's even bigger in person. Am I going to be living here with you, y/n?" Lucas asked, looking at y/n who walked up next to him.

"Hopefully, I have to ask Thomas, the leader of the house. At least for the summer then we can get our own place once summer's over." Y/n said. Get their own place? I completely forgot that y/n was only living here for the summer. I mean she has every right to move out any time she wants since she has Lucas now, but I feel like they should both just permanently live here.

We walk into the house and pretty much everyone was in the kitchen or the living room. They all looked at the three of us with confused expressions. I saw all of their eyes move to Lucas and y/n which made them even more confused.

I followed y/n who had her arms around Lucas's shoulders, into the kitchen. "Hey guys, this is Lucas. Lucas this is the Hype House. Too many names to introduce to you right now. Thomas can I speak to you privately?" He nodded and the two of them headed into one of the back rooms, leaving me and Lucas standing there in front of everyone.

Avani walked up to us and looked at Lucas who was almost the same height as her. "Uh, hey Lucas. How old are you?" she asked.

He continued scanning the place with his eyes as he responded to her. "Thirteen" he simply responded. Avani nodded her head and looked at me with an interested facial expression. She probably thought of what I thought of, that he was three years younger than me.

"So...you and y/n?" she asked. I thought she was being a bit nosy but then again he is a complete stranger to most of the people living here.

"She was my sister. We got put into the foster system when I was five and we were split up. She took care of me up until that point. I was never able to get in touch with her until two days ago. Since she is a legal adult, she adopted me. So now I am her son." He spoke loud enough so everybody else could hear what he had to say, and their confused looks went away.

"Cool beans dude." Avani said. holding up her hand for a high five. Lucas slapped his hand against hers and she went back to the couch to sit next to Mads.

Y/n and Thomas come out of the room and she walks up to Lucas and me. "Let me show you to your room!"
