~Charli's Pov~

I woke up and I immediately got up and opened my blinds. I don't think anybody understands how excited I am to go on this weekend getaway with y/n. Don't get me wrong I love spending time with her and Lucas but I just love her so much I can't help but to be a tad selfish with her. She makes me the most happy girl in the world and I just want to be with her forever. Great now I sound like a cheesy Netflix movie.

After I opened my blinds and took in the gorgeous sunshine, I slid on the hardwood floors using the power of my fuzzy cactus socks to y/n's room. She was sleeping peacefully in her side but I easily ruined that by laying on top of her. She slightly groaned and I kind of felt bad so I got up and sat next to her. She looked over at me and smiled at me as she reclosed her eyes.

"God you're so cute." I could feel my face light up and I smiled to myself. I rested my chin on her shoulder as she rubbed her eyes, trying to wake up.

"What time is our flight?" I asked y/n as she checked the time on her phone.

"Noon. Well be there about just in time for dinner." She sat up retied her hair into a ponytail. I don't understand how she can look so perfect even when she just woke up.

I got even more excited. "Ooo what are we doing for dinner?"

She moved a piece of hair out of my face as she smiled. " It's a surprise baby."

" What, I can't do surprises." I declared. I would say I'm a pretty patient person but I really want to know everything we are doing this weekend.

"Oh you'll be okay I promise. It'll be great. You'll love it." She kissed my forehead and got up to get ready for her day. I decided I should probably do the same since we still needed to pack. I grabbed a random outfit I had in y/n's random clothes drawer and got changed. It ended up being a pair of jeans shorts and a simple t-shirt. Y/n was wearing sweatpants and a white tank top. We both brushed our teeth and brushed out our hair. I did the most minimum makeup routine and plopped back on her bed.

Y/n walked out of the bathroom sliding on her shoes. "Make sure you pack a cute outfit, but not a fancy outfit. Just cute, okay?" Me, eagerly confused just nodded in response.

We turned on Grey's Anatomy as we packed our suitcases for the weekend. I made sure to pack a bathing suit because Miami is hot and we might go swimming. I don't know though. I'm quite sure y/n has this whole weekend planned out but I'm just going to go along with it.

Y/n went to go check on Lucas and I went downstairs to eat something before we left. Mads was sitting at the table as I poured a bowl of cereal.

"You excited to relax with y/n this weekend?"

I sat next to her with my bowl of cereal and looked at her. "Well of course I am. I'm pumped.

She gave me a questionable look and I got really confused. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She continued looking at me like I had an alien on my head.

"Oh I don't know. I just thought you would be more phased by all the thirsty people in her comments recently." Now I was confused why Mads wanted to start something about my girlfriend for literally no reason out of nowhere. I looked at her with that 'whaf did you just say' look.

"I'm just saying I would be more affected if it was my girlfriend. I mean have you read some of those comments?" Now I was just straight up pissed. I am not letting her ruin my beautiful weekend with my hot ass girlfriend. It is not me fault shes so gorgeous. So it's not my fault people comment on her appearance. Of course I come across those comments. What is wrong with Mads?

"I need to go get ready to head to the airport." I gave her a fake smile as I poured my untouched bowl of cereal in the sink. There's no way I'm letting her get to me.

I headed back upstairs to y/n's room where she was turning off the tv and fixing her hair. She took one look at me and walked up to me with a concerned look.

" Honey...what's wrong? Do you not want to go because we don't have to if you don't want to." I stopped her because that was definitely not what I wanted at all.

"No no no it's nothing like that. It's just Mads was just trying to start drama for no reason when I was trying to eat my cereal."

She furrowed her brows and stepped a step closer. "Drama about what?"

"She was talking about how I should be phased by the comments you get on your tiktoks. I just smiled and walked away because I don't care."

Y/n looked at me straight in the eyes and smirked. "Thats my girl."

It was time to head to the airport so we said goodbye to everyone and y/n thanked everyone for keeping an eye on Lucas. We got in the Uber we ordered and drive to the airport.

We boarded the plane and I got out my iPad to play Color By Number. Y/n watched in fascination for a good while until she got tired and fell asleep on my shoulder.

We finally got there and I was so hungry I was willing to eat almost anything. We drove to the Airbnb we were staying at, which was gorgeous but the way, and unpacked our stuff. We both but on our cute but not fancy outfits and y/n insisted on blindfolding me. I was so eager to see where we were going that I didn't even care.

When we stepped out if the Airbnb, I was surprised when y/n picked me up bridal style and started walking. I couldnt see anything but I was so excited.

After about five minutes of being carried to god knows where she finally puts me down and I feel sand slide into my sandals. She took off my blindfold and a huge array of delicious food was displayed on an adorable picnic blanket. I was definitely not expecting this at all. I was speechless.

"How did you do this? It's beautiful, y/n."

"I know a guy."
