~Charli's pov~
I walked out of her room to let her unpack, but I actually wanted to stay. I felt drawn to her. I wanted to be close to her, I wanted to know her. I have never had these feelings about a girl before, but the feelings are definitely there. I didn't even know a thing about her, but I wanted to change that. What if she didn't like girls and I am just wasting my time?

I shut the door after Charli left, and turned on some music. I unpacked all of my belongings, then layed on the bed vibing to the music. After a moment, I turned off the music, and turned on the tv. I opened Netflix, then heard a knock at the door.
"Come in!" I shouted at the door, wondering who was behind it. My heart started to race when I saw that it was Charli. Standing there all awkward with her awkward little smile. She is adorable.
"I just wanted to see if you were settling in okay, it gets pretty hectic here. It looks like you've already got all of your stuff unpacked, I should let you relax a little bit. I'll go." Charli almost walked out of the door, but I stopped her.
"No it's okay, come in. I was just about to find something to watch on Netflix, wanna join?" I asked, really hoping she would say yes. She came and sat next to me, and got comfortable under the blanket.
"Of course." She said, sounding very happy. I really thought she would rather want to hang out with her friends, but she actually wanted to be with me. I'm really glad she did.
We picked a movie neither of us have ever seen before. We sat there and watched the movie without getting up or talking once, we were very into the movie.
When the movie ended, we both looked at each other with shocked faces because the girl we thought would lived died, then we started laughing. She positioned herself to face me then gave me that Charli smile.
"Can we play a game?" She asked with a curious tone in her voice. I was intrigued by her question.
"What game?" I replied.
"Well...it's not really a game, more like an excuse to get to know you better. We just take turns asking each other questions, that's all." Thank goodness she asked because I really wanted to hang out with her more.
"Okay sounds good to me. You go first." I turned myself so I was sitting right across from her, and I scooted up a bit.
"How old are you?"
"18."
" What is your favorite season?"
"Summer. What is your favorite food?"
"Chicken Wings. What is your favorite article of clothing?"
"Blue jeans, they go with everything. Do you have any siblings?"
"Yes, I have a brother.. but I haven't seen him in a while." Charli gave me a look of sympathy, she didn't say anything, so I knew she wanted to know more. " Well, I never knew my dad. Mom said it was a one-night stand kind of thing. I was five when my brother was born, and after that my mother spiraled. She drank a lot more, she got into drugs, and couldn't provide for my brother and I. When I was ten, my mother died of an overdose. My brother and I was put into the system, and got adopted a few months later. I have no idea where he is, or how he is doing. I worry a lot, but I am putting trust in the universe. I live alone now, and I'm going to school part time. I miss my mom a lot, but she is in a better place now, and I believe that I will see my brother again someday.
It looked like Charli was about to tear up, but she stopped them from coming out. She gave me a big hug, and it felt really nice and comforting. I never wanted to let go.
"y/n... I am so sorry, I shouldn't of asked. I don't know what to say...Do you want me to leave?" Charli looked upset, ad the last thing I wanted right now, was for her to leave.
"No, no ,no. You don't have to leave. I enjoy having you here, and It's okay, you didn't know. Just don't tell the rest please, I don't want them to feel pity for me or anything."
"Yeah of course." She replied.
*time jump*
Addison made us all food for dinner, and me and Charli sat next to each other while we ate.
~Charli's Pov~
I already felt so much closer to y/n. She was such a kind and sweet person, and i really enjoyed hanging out with her. I wanted to do that more often for sure.
When she told me that story, she trusted me with that information. I've only known her one day, but I was really starting to like her...I wonder if she felt the same..
