~Charli's Pov~

When we arrived back at the house, we needed everyone in the house to pitch in bringing everything upstairs to Lucas's room. We rented a truck to haul most of the furniture. We ended up picking out some nice things for him. We, well mostly y/n, got him everything that he needed. He got a brand new wardrobe of all the clothes he liked. Boys aren't as picky as women when it comes to clothes so it really didn't take that long.

Once we got everything upstairs, the three of us arranged everything how Lucas wanted. We put the bed with blue and black bedsheets in the center of the room with a bedside table next to it. We mounted a tv across from the bed, and put a black dresser in the corner of the bedroom. We also put a navy blue area rug in the center, and to top it all off, an ACDC poster above the bed. Apparently he was a big fan but his past foster parents forbid any music that wasn't gospel, country, or Christian country. He doesn't have his own bathroom, but there's one right across the hall from his room so it's not that bad.

Throughout this whole process, it really was heartwarming seeing Lucas so happy. I could really tell that he was happy. I really want the best for him based off what him and y/n went through. He is a really good kid. He has manners, he's respectful, and he loves y/n. I really think that the people he was living with before made him seem like someone he is not. I personally don't think he ran away due to "juvenile behavior".

After getting Lucas settled in his new room that he absolutely loves, me and y/n headed to my room.

"Well done momma y/n. That room looks great." I said to y/n, as we sat down on my bed.

She let out a deep, tired sigh. "You helped too! Don't give me all the credit." She flipped her hair and gave me that stupid little smirk.

I laughed at her and gave her a small kiss. "You're really good with him you know." She furrowed her brows and gave me a smile from the corner of her mouth. "I'm serious. You're a good mom. And an even better girlfriend." I leaned in and gave her a soft kiss. In between kisses I was able to get out a very needed sentence. "We need a getaway. ..as...soon...as...possible. " The kiss deepen in between words and I could feel y/n smile through it.

She pulled only an inch away and stared into my eyes. "Where do you want to go?" She said, almost whispering.

"Anywhere is fine as long as I am with you."
