Chapter V

"Taehyung-aah! Wake up fastt!" Jang Mi shouted in his ears.

Taehyung groaned and pulled her closer to him, making her fall on him.
He rolled her and put her on the other side of the bed.

"I am going to punish you for waking me up." He said in a raspy voice, bringing his face closer to hers, trying to kiss her.

"Eww! Taehyung! Don't!! Go and brush first. Your mouth stinks " she said teasing him.

"Really?! Then I have to kiss you now!" He said and kissed her. She tried to wiggle out of his arms which were tightly wrapped around her waist but couldn't. She kissed him back.

She quickly pulled away and got up from the bed.

"Come on. Get up. Remember, we are going out today. Spend some time together." She said.

Taehyung nodded and lazily got up from the bed to go freshen up.

After some time, they left their apartment, had their breakfast outside.

They went to the arcade, played games which was their all time favorite thing to do.

They spent the whole day together.

It was evening now.

"Hey babe! Listen. Can we go to the Lotte world??" He asked out of nowhere.

"Suddenly?" She asked.

Jang Mi was stunned. She didn't want to go to the place where Taehyung had first confessed to her and do something that she will regret.

"Yeah. I mean I feel like going there today. Come lets go!!" He said and made her sit in the car.

Now a part of her wanted to go there and spend time with him but the other part of her knew it was a bad idea.

In no time, there were in front of the Lotte world.

"Come." Taehyung said.

They walked in hand in hand. Jang Mi was getting upset with every step they took. Tears threatened to roll down her cheeks.

"Tae? Are we going anywhere else
after this?" She asked sadly.

"Umm nope. I just really wanted to come here." He pecked her cheeks.

I am sorry Tae.

"Tae? Can we sit down somewhere?" She asked.

"Oh are you tired?" He was genuinely concerned. "Let me give you a piggyback ride. Hop on." He said and sat down to let her get on his back.

"Uhh no no Tae. I am not Tired." She was cut off by Taehyung.

"Nah. Hop on. I am not listening to you." He said .

Jang Mi sighed and hopped on.

She put her head on Taehyung's shoulder. Taehyung was telling her about something but she was too lost to hear anything. Tears streamed down her cheeks, making his T-shirt a little wet.

"Uhh. Baby? Why does my t-shirt feel wet?!" He asked.

Soft sniffles escaped from Jang Mi.

Taehyung was worried now. He made Jang Mi sit down on a bench. She quickly wiped her tears.

"Are you okay? What happened?!" He asked.

"Tae....I want to talk to you about something."

She knew she had to do it even though she didn't want to.

"Yes. What is it?" He said intertwining his hands with hers.

Jang Mi couldn't look at Taehyung. She was already feeling guilty about what she was going to do.

"Tae....I...I want to part ways with you. Let's breakup." She managed to say.

Taehyung was stunned for a moment but ended up laughing, hugging her.

"Baby please! You can't try that prank on me. You know how scared I get at the thought of losing you." Taehyung pulled away from the hug and looked at Jang Mi.

She was looking down. He held her chin and made her face him.
Taehyung's face expressions changed. He knew something was wrong.

"Jang Mi? Tell me you are kidding..."

She had a serious look on her face.

"No." She said deadpanned.

Taehyung was at a loss of words, but after a few minutes he managed to say something, well he had to.

"W-Whyy baby? Is it about Anna and mine engagement? "

"Yes! This is what it is about Tae. I can't and I don't want to deal with your parents! I am not that patient! I really can't deal with this! I need to part ways with you. Otherwise...." her voice cracked.

Taehyung couldn't believe the things that were happening right now. Just a few moments ago, they were enjoying each other's presence and now here they are.

"Baby. We can work through it. I will figure out a way so that you don't have to suffer. Please. Just be here with me. Your support is all I need. Please....." Taehyung was crying now.

Jang Mi composed herself. She knew she couldn't get weak now. She had to do it now or otherwise her parents would have to suffer because of her.

When Taehyung's step mother had asked her to think about it in the hospital, she had decided to leave Taehyung. Because her parents would have suffered and she didn't want it. She was ready to leave her happiness for her parents.

Jang Mi had asked his step mother for just one day to spend with Taehyung.
She agreed after Jang Mi assured that she will leave Taehyung that day itself.

And right now, Taehyung was a crying mess. It was so hard for him to believe that his baby girl was leaving him.

"No Tae! I am sorry. I have to leave now." She said and walked away swiftly not wanting to cry more in front of him. Once alone she cried her heart out. Her heart ache. She didn't wanted any of these to happen but there wasn't any option.
