Chapter X

Jang Mi was in her cafe. She was clearing up a table when she heard the door open.

"Welcome..." She stopped when she saw the person enter.

It was Taehyung. Not just Taehyung.
He was with the girl he was going to get engaged to, Anna.

Anna held Taehyung's hand even though he looked irritated.  She took him to the nearby table and sat beside him.

"Excuse me!" She called out.

There was nobody else so Jang Mi had to attend them.

She went to their table.

"Yes mam?"

"Hey..you...I know you. You were at Taehyung's house the other day right? His friend?" Anna asked Jang Mi.

Jang Mi nodded.

"Hello. I am Anna. Taehyung's fiancee." She introduced herself.

"I am Jang Mi." She said.

Taehyung's love.

"Ahh that's why, Taehyung's mom sent us here. I get it now." Anna smiled and ordered for herself and Taehyung.
He sat there, expressionless.

Jang Mi was surprised to hear that his step mother sent them here. But then she probably wanted to make Jang Mi jealous or something.

She had taken their order and was going to prepare it, when she heard the door open again.

There was a guy dressed in all black.
Black trousers, black oversized shirt and black cap.

Jang Mi went to him and asked him what he wanted to order. But the guy didn't seem to hear as his eyes were fixed on Taehyung and Anna.

Jang Mi cleared her throat and asked him again.

"Sir?"

"Banana Milk." He said quickly looking at her.

She nodded and left.

The guy kept looking at Taehyung and Anna. He was frustrated.

Jang Mi also wasn't doing good. She was getting restless.

Why did they have to come here!!
She thought and sighed.

She prepared the order and brought them to their table. She went in afterwards but she didn't realize that she gave the guy's order to Anna and Anna's order to the guy.

"Uh? She must have been mistaken. This isn't what I ordered." Anna said to Taehyung, who was least bothered.

"That's mine." The guy spoke standing in front of their table.

Anna looked at the guy. She was astonished.

What is he doing here?
Anna was definitely not expecting him here.

"Ahh..." Anna couldn't even respond. "Sorry." She somehow managed to say.

"It's okay. I am used to people giving my things to others." He said and left.

Anna gulped.

Taehyung rolled his eyes. He just wanted to get out of there.

After some time Anna spoke.

"Tae? I think we should get out of here."

He nodded and got up to leave but stopped.

"Don't call me Tae!" He said suddenly.

Anna was surprised by that but nodded simply. She remembered something and asked Taehyung to go first. He went on without hesitation.

"Hey Jang Mi. I wanted to give you this. Taehyung's mother asked me to give it to you." Anna handed her the invitation for hers and Taehyung's engagement.
"Yes. Mrs.Kim really want you to come." Anna smiled and left.

Jang Mi held the invitation in her hands. It read Taehyung with Anna. Sadness took over her face. She really loved Taehyung but she didn't have any choice.

Ding!

She received a text on her phone.

You are cordially invited to my son's engagement.

It was from Taehyung's step mother.

How cruel!
Jang Mi thought.
